Hi Kuzoku I write in point form whatever comes into my head... so in no order
this is what I have to say :P :
* scan is a little grainy. Could do with some cleaning- just a slight blur or
median on a duplicated layer on a soft light blending mode should help a bit
* extraction is VERY good.
* text- I don't know why you want to leave the outer glow on it... if that's the
effect you want, okay, but usually I don't use outer glow on text if you can
read it properly. If that makes sense. Font.... hmmmm is still okay but I think
something better could have been picked-- but it still goes with the grunge
theme well.
* grunge- Overall grunge effect is pretty good. But I suggest you introduce some
more colours such as brown - then that triggers in green and blue- you set the
brushes layer onto different blending modes like perhaps colour burn or
something to vary the colours and the texture. At the moment it's too
synchronised... just doesn't feel "heavy" enough. You could also
consider using some brushes over Ed, because at the moment he doesn't blend in
too well. Sure, he's red and the bg is red, but the bg is a less brighter red
whereas he stands out a bit too much. Either Ed should be put down in
brightness- or perhaps you grunge parts of him- again using some blending modes
for a texturised effect.
OVERALL:
It's pretty good I just really think though that the background texture could be
improved, and the scan blended in much more Kudos for
posting ^_^
Well I decided to leave the other wallie in the trenches and work on a new one. Constructive critisism please. Thx ^_^*
