Sup all, i'm considering buying Soul Calibur III, but i've been reading some
mixed reviews on the game. Seems like the fans love it and other players say
rent it. Should i go ahead and buy this game or rent it? I loved soul calibur II
so i'm a bit of a fan of the series. Any opinions?
it's kick ass, buy it. I'd buy it but I don't have money for a PS2, and from the
looks of things SC3 won't be coming out for Xbox.

i jsut bought this game a few days ago, and i love it. i would deffinatly say
buy it. its a great game on its own, and it your a fan, it makes it that much
better.
It isn't only "ordinary"fighting game,You can CREATE your own
character with very much feature that you can imageine(costume
part,Voice,face,body and many more)
And you can play such "unique" chronicles of the sword mode.
besides,i love this game cause my Fav character:SIEGFRIED is BACK ^^"(damn
cool)
i bought my ps2 jus to play SC3 ^^. Zasalamel is awesome especially when u
unlock and modify ur character to look like a hot chick with a crazy scythe :P
I have . It was kind of easy but alittle hard . It's kindof difficult when u
fight mitsurugi and and the lady who fights with the hidden sord in her
umbrella.

I always have siegfried have a wife and two kids , a boy and a girl. I love
siegfried , he is soo hot !
it's a good game, i borrowed it from a friend, the only thing i hate about it is
that you can't select your own abilities when creating or make up your own
weapons
I bought the it the second day it came out and I will say its good the only
problem is Ive found that they took out some of the move for different fighters.
As a result that killed the way I played Xianghua, but the new fighters like
Tira (the girl with the huge ring for a weapon) and Setsuka (the woman who uses
a hidded sword in an umbrella) have made it enjoyable
Yeah i played it! And i love it! I made my pretty own character really cool,
looka like a mage out of harry potter! *smile*:D
If you dont have the game BUY it!
I love Soul Calibur III. Playing it on-and-off right now. I'm glad Siegfried is
back (love the stances) and i'm glad my all time favorite, Rock, is back as
well. Rocks moves seam kinda weird since Soul Edge but i'm getting use to him. I
like Seigfried and Nightmares alternate stances that you can make them do (not
taunts but the way they hold their sword). The Create-A-Character adds a lot of
fun. Esspecially when you make someone that looks so cool. I too was
dissapointed on how much some certain characters have lost their moves but most
of my favorites kept the most important ones at least. Definately a great game.
The small strategy game was suprizingly fun as well.

Yeah. I know what you mean. Some of the better moves of my favorite characters
are gone. There are some new moves to replace them but I still can't get used to
the new Talim. The game in general is really good though.
I finally got Soul Calibur 3 for Christmas, I'm working on Tales of Souls, Soul
Arena, and Chronicles of the Sword but my TV is busted at the moment and my
parents are pissed at me so now I have nothing to do but hang around here until
we get my TV fixed or we get a new one.
I only rented it but the reason we're 'cheap' I like the game and all. I like it
when you have to press certain button during a cut scene so fun! The game made
me dizzy though all that graphic and stuff it made my hyper too. hehehe.
its a great game, depends how much you liked sc2. if you loved it, definitely
buy this. i got it on store credit because i'm special, but i wouldve paid for
it new. it does get boring eventually, but its solid multiplayer and lasts way
longer than a rental. maybe wait for the price to drop, but definitely worth
owning.

They changed a lot of ways the characters' controls worked, which annoyed me
after I spent a bit of time perfecting my skills on Ivy to find they totally
reworked it.

Its pretty kool I got it the day it came out. If your a fan of SC then get it.
I love SC3, but the only thing is dislike is that Cassandra and Sophitia arent as good as in SC2.
