Awhile ago I started learning about pixel art, and made a few pictures of my
own. It's a good style for me because I tend to be a perfectionist, and being
responsible for every single pixel makes me feel more in control. Though lately
I have been making tiny pictures made through combinations of pixel art and tool
shading.
I was just wondering if anyone here had made any. Dolling is the most popular
type, I think, so most of you have probably seen at least some of that.
Quote by obsidianwingshm....what
exactly is pixel art? sounds interesting... do you shade etc by coloring the
pixels individually or something?
That's pretty much it... You zoom in to where you can get a pretty good veiw of
each individual pixel and then... *change color* *dot* *change color* *dot* ect.
Some people find it too tedious, but it can be made even with the simplest of
programs, like paint.
hmm i've done that before. when i'm bored i play around with mspaint sometimes
and it's pretty interesting trying to shade stuff in pixel by pixel. you can do
some pretty detailed stuff that way...

I used to do pixel art. It is incredibley tedious, but very good for getting the finer details.
