Is it just me or am I just not looking everywhere because no matter where I look it is only white and japanese characters on alll the pics.(no offense intended to those I just stated) But it seems that there are no black, hispanic or any other races on the pictures and scans in the gallery.

That's true, but a lot of it has to do with there not being a lot of racial variety in anime. Of course, there are a few exceptions (R.G. Utena, for example). But most characters in anime have lighter skin tones.

I hardly ever see people of color in sensitive animes, like Inuyasha or Slayers or something like that, but there are many different races in animes like Bleach or Fullmetal Alchemist. Older animes don't seem to have as much multiculturalism as newer ones.

Sure, there are some DARK SKINNED people but there still not black...The only people of color I see are Japanese but only with a really dark tan and then they have green eyes or sumthing..there still not really people of color...and I hate the way people stereotype black ppl in animes with big pink lips and HUGE noses and stuff...but thats only in the old animes.

Now, they do have more black/different raced people on animes. Like on Cowboy Bebop, an stuffz...But I dont see alot of scans or pretty cg images with different races. -sigh- maybe...one day it'll be the same..u.u
