If you could change one thing about Minitokyo, what would it be? I thought it
would be interesting to see what things people could imagine....You can answer
this as if you were a moderator.... basically from any viewpoint. I believe the
site is great as is, but we can always dream....
(My practical answer..... I'm always so practical)
Personally, I would make it to where userlookups had a more interesting default
that would give newbies to html an example to look at..... its just a thought...
but I've had many newbies ask me about html and its really really hard to
explain. I personally learned from examples and viewing the source on other
webpages, so I think this would really help them out...
My answer would have to be a more easy used member menu. I find myself lost in
the maze under your name in the right upper corner every time I try to use
it...( maybe there's som kind of place where tyou get to lear this bur i haven't
found it yet)
a tutorial on how to make walls would be nice. not necesary but nice, since I
don't know how.
i'd lower the level requirement for scans, i want to get back into making walls
but its a little hard without access to good scans done by other wallers i
dont think theres anything else i'd want to change its perfect
I think MT is great, i like a lot, you can submit walls, say what do you think
of that, even if you don't make walls you can gain levels, talk 'bout anime or
anything you want, the best is "we can make friends from anyplace of the
world". I could not change MT 'cause its almost perfect (my point of view)
I like Rhapsody's idea. Although, I'd also like it if you didn't have to use
html just to get your userpage looking good. I forget who it was but I know
somebody has music playing on their userpage. I got a song that goes perfect
for my username called "King Green" by Cannibal Whore Feast.
i dunno much about computer either, honestly... i dont know what HTML means, im
a nurse, i focus my self most in poeple and few time on computer. well, i need
to learn more about this do i??? hahaha
Not sure what I'd change, as I'm quite the new squid on the block. otoh, there
is a distinct need for a faster server / more NICs / better bandwidth. Load
times on my end for any page are measurable in minutes, not seconds. If a
server upgrade isn't possible, then maybe some better tuning of MySQL / Apache
would be a good idea. I like this place, but DAMN -- it is slow!

HTML is a coding language. I don't know what the letters stand for, but I do
know that HTML is coding for online pages, such as geocities, and the ilk. I
think these forums run on PHP, but I'm not certain.

i'm with him... i'm a newbie as well compared to most members..... this site is
awesome but the time it takes to load is way too long....
Hm. I'm sure that I'm in a definite minority when I say that post-count-based
forums work against me. I'm a firm believer of not saying anything unless I
feel that I have something worth saying, and therefore prefer to post a
well-thought (often rather long-winded) response to one or two topics that
interest me as opposed to dropping meaningless one-word replies in every
thread.
Perhaps a word-count based system might cut down some of that annoying
level-hopeful spam that seems to be so prevalent these days, although I have a
feeling that instead we'd be inundated by long garbled posts rife with
onomatopoeia and gibberish. =P
It's possible to do that and get a lot of posts. Head over to the forums on
Xgenstudios.com . I have 15,000 posts, and many of them have thought put into
them.
For me I think I'd go for more color options in this place. Not just blue. And
then white only bein' the other one once you hit a certain level. As well as a
search page. Where you can type in what you are lookin' for on the site and it
will give you possible results.

I fail to see how this has any relevance. Going to a forum on a completely
different site and marvelling at your large number of thoughtful posts isn't
likely to do much to increase my post count on MiniTokyo.
I love MT how it is but the only thing I would change if your using the chat
box, I wish it would reload back on the page you were looking at not the main
page or whatever forum or gallery your in.

Oh... I´m not good in this stuff. I´m a newby too and i don´t know was i loose for words.
but my opinion is, this side is great ^^ okay somthing bother me, and that´s about my level.
Because i need level 10 to download wallpapers in full size, but i know that´s not what you mean.

I love MT how it is but the only thing I would change if your using the chat box, I wish it would reload back on the page you were looking at not the main page or whatever forum or gallery your in.
