since you've asked... in my opinion the only thing that evolved in the last 15
years is commercialising the whole scene.. i guess it will be as fake as Hip-Hop
today in about 5-10 years from now
"Not everyone understands House music... It's a spiritual thing; a body
thing; a soul thing."
...You can't compare house to hip-hop; house is so much more, although hip-house
is a mixed genre that sounds pretty groovin'. But you can't say house hasn't
evolved--house music has evolved plenty with many genres stemming out from it.
Deep House being one of my favs, I don't think you can get any smoother than
that.
As for my favorite artist, that would have to be Kaskade. He produces some silky
sweet tracks... "It's You, It's Me" is just one of his tracks I never
get tired of.
If you count mainstream dance/eurodance as house, then ya that sounds like
watered-down commercial music. I wouldn't count that as true house music, as
someone who understands the house genre.
What do you think for house music and who is your favourite DJ?
