We do? I for one have never really been ga-ga over any celeb except maybe to say
that he was cool. Or like "waah" and then like look at pictures for a
week... Then get over it... haha. Celebs are so detached from the world for me,
so I don't really understand why other people do.
I remember watching Dr Phil where this one mom... She had like Brad Pitt
everything and that was all she talked about around her kids. Like Brad Pitt
coffee mug, posters all over her room, magnets of him on the fridge... Whoa! So
crazy ^^;;
I think they're attracted to the good looks, the status along with their jobs
and like the money. I mean, you don't -really- know all that much about them
except what tabloids feel like slapping out into the media. Unless you actually
met them... Then I'll shut up

have never fallen in love with a celebrity but my friend she is crazy about
Donald from Random. she has pictures of him on her folder, she buy the random
Cd's so she can look at him, she has stickers of him on her wallet and she a a
48 paged book and on each page (front and back) has three columes that says... I
Love Donald... she finished the book!
they have to justify their pityfull existence so they are made to be better than
normal humans.

he actually did something in the real world for which he gave over 20 years in
solitery confinement.
makes you think what right do the others have to be in the lime light so much
when the only suffering has been their anerexia.

a crowd and smother them with makeup and plastic surgery and u got urself a

people like celebrities because we've either been exposed to them often enough
to think that they are "the one" or close to perfect or glamourous
(all the postive imagery). Good looks also help- it's just that people usually
are attracted more to sparkly things (replace sparkly with celebrities
XP)
Another reason is that people admire them for their talents and
abilities.

In addition to status and good looks, I think people love celebrities because
they portray characters whom fans find a characteristic that they enjoy. Like,
some women like Johnny Depp because he often portrays the bad boy type of
characters.
I think that this happen becaus we idealise the celebrities, we know of this
what they want that we know of them but this is not the truth because they show
to us a perfect character. We besides, perhaps, need to have a big love or
passion in our hearts, I don't know why...
I think other people (not including myself) like celebrities because they are
chosen because of their looks. All the celebrities are in a movie and bla
because they probably auditioned and the people liked how they looked. I
personally don't like celebrities because they probably think they are superior
than common people.

They probably fall in love with them out of admiration, wanting to live their life, or the fact that some are so good lookin.
Honestly I don't care celebrities. I have my own life and is more important than theirs.
