i got sent out of my art class for selling candy and then ignoring my teacher when she said to stop. i guess it's my fault and everything, but i BARELY ever speak in tht class. seriously, none of my friends are in tht class so i just sit and try not to dose off...but it is detention righ? will it go on ur permanent record? have u ever gotten a detention before? opinions, thoughts and personal exprecies are always appreciated =^_^=

I got detention once for the stupidest thing in the world i was about 6 or 7 and eating a fruit roll up when my tooth came out and i started bleeding everywhere my teacher gave me detention because she said i was showing off when in reality i was hold papertowels to my mouth crying.

i get detentions like nothing. i got one for swong socks, top , shoes, tie(uniform), coming late to school (late 5mins three times=detention) In my school detentions arent on perm record coz they are given very liberaly

ooo yeah in year 10 i got 4 class detentions coz some ppl(not me )didnt do their home work or were too loud in class. therefore whole class stayed another 20 mins

Our schools don't have detention. If it's just something minor, we get scolded, if it's serious, we gat canned. After that, we would just be kicked out of school.

none... but in Primary I did get lunch detention for talking to people... and in high school i got sent home once... I'm not a trouble maker.... usually I'm quiet and I obey the rules... but there are times when the steam pushes the lid off the kettle

I have never had detention in the history of my school life. All 12 years... not one. Unless you count class detentions that is, but they aren't fair because you have no control over how others act

I made the mistake of thinking detentions will screw me over for life.. as in I won't get into a good college, which will prevent me from getting the job I want, which will lead me to live in poverty I don't think detentions even go on your record.. So I did everything I could to avoid getting detentions, which was retarded now that I think back on it. I should've enjoyed high school a little more. ^^

you cannot put me into detention ever, without suffering payback if it was back in high school, so yeah, i never had them...not exactly anyway, sooner or later i will just walk out because i finished reading the novel, and the teach would go" where the hell you think you are going?"
