Well as the Topic already says it is not possible to edit a post which has Merged with another post. One becomes this Message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message() in /new/minitokyo/public_html/_members/editpost.php on line 30

I've never experienced this error. I have merged several posts and then edited them again afterwards. let me try it right now.
