The oroginal scans I found here at MT (Arigatou!) It was actually three
different images each Bishounen with his cat but I thought it would make a nice
group wallie. It took some considderable restructuring of the scans
^_^*
I thought to keep the background simple but intune with the theme of
2AM.
Get rid of the lens flares. They stick out like sore thumbs.
Your 5-point stars need to have more variety in size. And you need more than
just three of them.
The "dot" stars are too uniformed in terms of brightness and size. And
they are not glowy enough. Using the core dot layer, make two duplicate layers
and apply a gaussian blur of 2.5 and 5 pixels respectively. Merge those three
layers (core, 2.5 and 5.0) and duplicate. Lock transparency the duplicate layer
and apply some soft blue color and then set on color mode.
Clouds are not contrasting enough. You should make the white tone
stronger.
Personally, I'd prefer a vectored urban residential area background or maybe a
playground with the character in red jacket removed. His size and height
placement makes the whole trio look awkward.
