Just so you know, Spong isn't exactly what I'd call a reliable source. And
despite how awesome it will be, I will stand by my belief that there should
never be a ff7 remake. Ever. There's enough spinoffs already, and Advent
Children satisfied me quite enough.
i doubt it will be the full game... plus i think it will fail horrible. I love
the orginal and though the though of a remake with better graphics is nice...
the original will always b better.
im not sure about that coz from what i hear square sold the rights to sony for
exclusive gaming rights to any new games for square with the name Final Fantasy.
it might come out on the PSP but this info is not verified...
It would be great to have a good rpg on the DS, but I seriously doubt that it's

Reason #2: I'm pretty sure Sony owns a hefty chunk of Square killing any chances
of a 'true' FF game or it's remake on another console. Especially a remake of
the game that was probably the single best system seller ever.
As far as a FF7 remake for the PS3? I'm sure it'll happen sometime down the
line, there are still a huge number of fans out there and SE knows it.
LOL @ FF7 on DS. I'm almost positive that if it were remade, it would go
straight to the PSP. Why betray Sony, when it's thanks to them that the game
became what it was? Square stated it themselves, they turned their back on
Nintendo because they refused to move to CD based media, screwing the plans
Square had for FF7 in the first place...so they jumped ship and created what's
arguably the best game of all time on none other than the best CD based system
during that time, the PS1. Square <3 Sony
And I still personally think that the Saturn was the best system of that console
generation...but face facts. PS1 = owned the mid-late 90s.
hmm you sure about this? i know they are making a remake of final fantasy for DS
but i know its not final fantasy VII for sure, i heard is final fantasy II or IV
if iam not wrong, and my source can be more trusted (gamefaqs and

Truer words havent been spoken in a while. Its just a shame many people from
adventchildren.net dont share the same opinion. FF7 was a fantastic game, but it
doesn't really leave room for a sequal. So they should just let the game rest
and not try to milk it for everything that is it, they'll just be ruining it's
great reputation. If SE want to make a game for the DS, it should be an original
game, original story, and original characters. FF7's place was on the ps1.

I agree, they should just leave it alone. Too many remakes really irk me.

Hmm...I never heard of this news. But it would be nice if they can remake FF7.
Although I have a DS, I would perfer them to remake it on PSP or PS3 instead....the graphics would look better.
