Edgar Alan? Wow... I never intended it to be so morbid. Haha. But I guess
writing poems late at night will do that to you. Thanks Jasaiyajin. I think you
analyzed it quite well... without any analysis.
I don't know if this is similar to an Edger Alan Poe poem, but it is morbid. I'm
guessing the "Nevermore" gives the impression of edger alan poe. But
it is well written, I do get the feeling of sadness after i was done. Thanks for
that
Yes it is "Edgar Alan Poe" ish in the begining because of it's old
poetic rhyme and it's subject. This poem sounds like a one sided love,
especially the following:
No longer do you hear me
Although I'm at your side
How many days and nights now
Since you've said your lie?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Since you've said your lie", that makes it sound like she broke up
with you but you're still after her.
tis a broken craven heart, that seeketh never to depart
kirei desu nee... simply enjoying the beauty of it
It is still pretty good
The poem evolves to that point and not only is he still after her, he kills her to make her stay.
Love Forever, love is free...
Nice use of words and emotion in it... and it doesnt fully show an Edgar Allan-ish type of poem cos thats you talking and writing. :P
