well i'm not sure is this appropiate in here but i'll give it a try. i've got to
design a 3d mascot that will be used to advertise a breakfast cereal but i don't
have any ideas for a mascot i'm going to use. However the mascot cannot be copy
from original companys. It must be made by yourself Could
someone pls give me an idea? So far i could come up with an alien with
antennas.
(incase anyone is wondering what subject it would this be then i must say
graphic communication)
Well, if it's an original character firstly think about what the audience
is.
Breakfast cereal- kids...
Well an alien is pretty suited for that, but to my knowledge you can't
use:
* a monkey (for cocoa pops)
* a rooster (for Kellogg's cornflakes)
* a rabbit (for trix, is it?)
It seems like these cuddly things are the ones kids like.
I would probably stick with the alien idea and if all else fails you might want
to get a cool looking bird with sunnies (or bear with sunnies, but make sure
it's not a polar bear because that reminds me of Mars bars)
Well, that's about all I can offer to you- but either way, the image must be
cute, cool, and looking pretty energetic. I think of birds because once you eat
the cereal you can fly throughout the day (lame, but still archetypal) [but then
ufos are way cooler]
