The best program that I've found for gifs that has an easy to use interface is
Ulead Gif Maker. Great for editing gifs and for making new ones from scratch.
I use Jboca's Animated GIF Editor. It has an old and uneasy interface and the
frames must be prepared separately in some other soft, but this one fits me the
best - I'm the internal computer type, I like to control the data as precisely
as possible and this soft lets me do it.
I've been working with GIFs from th inception of the GIF98a spec, I've used all
the tools listed here and then some, and, in the end, th tool I've found
head-and-shoulders over the rest would have to be the GIMP
(http://www.gimp.org/). It exports multi-layer images as animated GIFs, has
excelent epallete control, and making super-compressed animations is extremely
easy. My sig below was made using it, the original file size was 560k, but with
the gimp, I was able to crop the individual frames very easily and cut it down
to 120k. On top of all that, it's a full-featured image manipulation progra, so
you can do all kinds of cool stuff with it. Well, that's my 2 cents.
I currently use UnFREEz, but Jasc Animation Shop is/was my favorite. UnFREEz is
pretty simple, but effective. If ya have some spare cash, i suggest Animation
Shop. I recently downloaded gimp, haven't tried it out yet though.
Please help me with good gif editor selection. Priority in easy editing by myself (like paintbrush ^_^) and handy frame interface.
Try Microsoft Gif Animator, it's free and it's what I use to make my sigs. ^_^ Very easy interface.
Thx, I'll try it
I use ImageReady from Adobe, if you have Photoshop then it should have come with it.
I'm use ImageReady too :d
i used the others programs, but nothing is comparable with ImageReady

Yeah, GIMP is very good. I use it for some time, so I must agree. I use also Paint Shop Pro with Animation Shop and it's good, too.
Firework......that's the best gif maker for me
Adobe imageready is best for me
Jasc Animation Shop is probably the most simple animation prog I've used. I don't think you'll have any problem ^_^
