Hi people, i was playing halo 2 the other dayn and just came to my mind, mmm thats song was made for Incubus, and i start to remember another games whit cool soundtracks to, like Nightmare Creatures, for Playstation, soundtracks made for Rob Zombie, Duke Nukem, planet of the babes, for ps, sountrack made for Static X (push it), Def jam , Tony Hawk, gran turismo 2 (ok just for the song of STP and garbage), and Gran Thef Auto vice city, have cool songs to

so people, share your opinions about other games whit cool soundtracks

NfsU, NfsU2 and NfsMW have some great songs.

There are many games with cool soundtracks, I have some of them, for example, almost all Final Fantasy series have great tracks, Soul Calibur II, Ridge Racers, Grand Turismo 3 and 4, Castlevania, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Need for Speed, DOA Ultimate to mention some.

I like the tracks that the megaman and megaman x series have.

Quick Suggestion:

For amazing game soundtracks, only two would ever come to my mind, and that would be any track from the Guilty Gear XX / Chaos Legion series. I know its all Instrumental Rock, but compared to any other game I've played in the past, these two still stands out the most when it comes to quality in my opinion.

By the way, Darktekya also suggested some good tracks you should look up as well. I tried Soul Calibur III and I enjoyed several of the tracks they had set up . Shadow Hearts: Covenant and Front Mission 4 also had some wonderful collections to add to the mix. I'm sure there are other plenty new games I have yet to mention here that are surprisingly good as well, but that is up to you. Just don't try to take the ones from the Katamari game though... Katamari [Arrangement on the Rocks] and all their other bizarre tracks, aside from the only one track I really liked: Everlasting Love [pretty catchy pop music]... yeah, you better watch out for those, because these tracks are out there. **Smacks her head in shame** Just a little tip you should keep a note of.

By far and away, Jet Set Radio Future. Just a great mix of hip hop and electronica, the essence of the street, baby. That Professor K was one awesome DJ, playin' nonstop hot beats on the greatest radio station ever. Can we have a sequel, already? I know Smilebit is nonexistant, but damn it Sega, get off your butts and do something right!

Honorable mentions: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Gunvalkyrie (yet another game that was tragically underplayed and needs a sequel) and Super Metroid.

Any Sonic Adventure Game had the best music ever!

Tales of Legendia had a pretty awesome soundtrack as far as recent RPG music goes, the new composer pulled off some really good songs to capture the various moods for each situation.

Sonic Adventure Battle 2 (for Gamecube) had some nice songs in it ^-^ They're not all "Sonic"---there are some nice tunes that do not mention any game characters, yet the song itself totally reflects the characters (and can reflect the player's atitude as well ). I'd recommend that soundtrack as my top.

There's also the nice, soothing tunes of the Legend of Zelda games. I specifically enjoyed Windwaker's tunes, though the graphics weren't my cup of tea initially (now I just think they're adorable ).

Guilty Gear (I spent hours listening to the sountrack its truly awesome)
Kingdom hearts (has all the disney themes we remember, some final fantasy ones, plus original work and I love Utada Hikaru)
Metal Gear Solid (Harry Gregson williams is class)
Final Fantasy (Nobeo Uematsu creates some of the best battle themes and villain themes I have ever heard : One winged angel- sephiroth for example)
Devil May Cry 3 has a sweet beat as well

I like the sountrack of Silent Hill games, and the ocarina of time xD
