Hey everyone, Today my school is on a lock down! And I'm just wondering what you
do when your school is put on a lock down, or does your school even go on lock
down? We are on lock down because the dogs are out side sniffing our lockers to
see if any of us have drugs at school with us. Which I never do because the only
drugs I ever take are for when I'm sick.^__^
I looked for a thread about this and I didn't see one so I'm sorry if this is a
duplicate.
Well, there hasn't been any lock downs where I go to now. We don't even have
lockers. But in my previous school I can only remember it happening one time when
there were a couple of people coming with dogs to check if there were any drugs,
but at that time, everything was like it usually was. We were never thrown out
or anything, or forced to wait somewhere.
They made us stay in the classroom! And then the dogs came buy to search the
stuff we had on us! some my classmates had druel on their stuff! It was pretty
funny. But we just waited until they were done with us then they went to the
middle school. We were in out 2nd hour class room until the end of 3rd hour. Ohh
well at least I had a computer!^__^
My school was on lock down once... there was this big racial fight We
stayed in the same classroom the whole day (lunch brought to the classes even)
and when we had to go, we had to leave by floors and sections at a time... It
was torture! O_O
Lockdowns have never happened in my high school yet ^-^ Looks like you guys have
planned lockdowns---we don't! Since we don't have lockers in my school district
except for P.E. (probably because of past students ), our
lockdowns are for emergencies.
Yeah, like a crazy armed guy will ever run into our high school
I missed the whole lockdown thing when I was in school, but my aunt is a teacher
at one of the local elementary schools. They have emergency produce practices
everyonce in a while where they lock themselves and their students in the
classroom until the safe signal is given. They are prohibitted for unlocking the
doors for any reason until the signal is given (not policy or firemen or anyone
at all). They even send people around to check all the doors. I don't think I
could take that.
we'd lock down for about 20 minutes every time somebody tried to rob the bank,
which seemed about once every month or so. haha, teachers got so mad when it
happened while they were teaching, or especially if they were giving a test
I don't think the high school my little brother goes to has lock downs -but it
sounds fun. The only thing that happened when I was in high school is that we
had a bomb scare during the year 12's end of year exams (luckly I wasn't in year
12 at the time). Everyone in my class grabbed all their stuff (even tho we
weren't suppose to), which was lucky because you need keys to drive the car home

during my senior year of high school (last year) we had lock-down drills. we had
to be quiet, still, and until the administration came through to unlock our
classroom doors, we couldn't go anywhere, not even to the bathroom.
Lock down? We don't have school lock downs but my school got closed last week
because some students and professors on our Uni have a rally. Damn... that
sucks!
Lockdowns happen when security has been breached in someway. Including some sort
of threat or immediate danger. As deemed by administration. It's happened once
before w/ drugs when I was in highschool. So long as it's not a hostage
situation/dangerous person, then I probably wouldn't feel too on-edge.
We only have lockdowns when they check to see if anybody has a gun or if
somebody brought drugs to school. One time they put us on lockdown because some
girls were smoking weed in the bathroom. When they put us on lock down we have
to stay in our classrooms until their done. We have fun on lockdowns, the
teachers let us do whatever we want until it's over and we have to switch
classes.

sounds kinda icky tho' but funny at the same time!
i wonder what would happen when my school has a lock down..
my school always has a practice lockdown during the end of classes.
i would either sleep if i didnot get enough that night, do hw for my next
class
or just surf the web/chat online with my friends on my laptop
Wow... the last school lockdown I've been in was about a few years ago. We had
to turn off the lights, close the shades, lock the doors, and hide under a
table. There was some guy with a gun going around and they didn't catch him
until sometime later.
last year i had one and i sat all the way in the back. these high schoolers were
running around school and the police were trying to catch them. of course, i was
bored. but the boys that sat next to me had this really cool book out and
everyone in the back was over there looking at it. it took almost the whole
period for them to signal it was okay. you know how uncomfortable it is?!
We had a lockdown, or rather, a "code blue" the year before last. Some
guy was shooting at people in a resturant nearby, so they locked us in our
classrooms for half the freaking day. I didn't mind though, 'cause one of the
funniest things happened that day! (I think I put this down in another post...)
My friend Josh was up on the roof when the alarm went off (why? I haven't the
slightest clue. He never did tell me...). Well, when that happens, you're
suppose to go to the nearest "secure area", and the roof sure didn't
qualify as "secure". Problem was, Josh decided to be a complete moron
and play James Bond. So, instead of going back through the door like a normal
person, he decided to crawl back through the vent shaft that led to the air
thingy in our classroom. Yeah, he's a tard.
Well, our History teacher is a complete weirdo, and when he heard Josh coming
down the vent, he said, "Everyone stay back! It might be the shooter!"
Then he grabbed his pointer stick thingy and wacked Josh when he stuck his head
out of the vent duct. Was the damn funniest thing I've ever seen.

well, i just usually always bring eather my PSP ot SP to school ao i just play games whyle the whole school sits in the gym or cafe...

LoL i go to "mission san jose high" the worst that has ever happend.. is when some kids hacked into the school computers.. to change their grades =P
