I have a problem, with the grous guestbook
currently, I am unable to edit the comments in the guestbook

for starters, in the Bleach group, where i intended to correct my grammar, when i pressed edit it gave me this message:

but this also applies to all my group comments, I am not able to edit them at all.

in addition to this is that, i tried to go to my guestbook comments page, there is also the same problem.

not only editing, i also am unable to delete my posts as i do with guestbook comments and forum posts.

Hmm, very useful thread. Saves me the trouble of creating a new one.

When I try to edit my posts in the Chaos-Cross group guestbook on the group page, I get no warnings...

however...

The edit page shows some completely random post made by some other member in a place I can't even find out where.

For example, this post in the Chaos-Cross guesbook by me:

Can someone help me keep a look out in the Sandbox? By this I mean 2 things:

Since the sandbox is supposed to help members improve their work, and these comments do not do that, please report them so I can delete them.

2. This is for those who has time to help check up on the galleries of the members for me. I have made a post in the "Intro to the Sandbox" sticky reiterating the need for members to report their own thread once they submit their work to the galleries, but as we all know, these stickies are often not read. So if anyone has any spare time, help me check the older Sandbox threads and if the member has submitted those works, please report the thread and I can close them. This will help delineate new works from useless threads.

If anyone can help me out with these two things, that'll be greatly appreciated. I can't go through the galleries of all the members to check if they submitted their works. lol

My best guess is that the database is getting referencing incorrectly, so the "edit" links to some other post rather than the correct Chaos-Cross guestbook ones.

That's the url of the edit page when I click edit on the stuff I quoted above from Chaos cross. But this page shows me the second quoted stuff, which is definitely written by someone else. But exactly who, I have no clue.

Funny, i tried the same thing as EternalParadox has said and the result came out just fine.

I edited the the post web address from:

to

and it worked. I think it seems like a naming problem.

I've been getting this error in groups too...I tried to edit a post earlier and got this:

like i said, change the address of this link, this should work.
for example: http://eechi-club.minitokyo.net/editpost/999999
change it to: http://groups.minitokyo.net/editpost/999999

notice the change of the link name.
this should work for now. do the same thing if you wish to delete posts.

ooo, i had the same problem as AngelKate-san, but i took your advice Devildude-san and it worked! i hope that this can be fixed soon tho... it's kind of a pain to keep changing the link in order to edit a post...
