I've been using lots of P2Ps eversince I had my broadband connection. The last
download form I heard was peer 2 mail, but it was only yesterday that I found
out of an FTP download. My seach in the net was unsatisfactory, so I guess I
have to seek enlightenment here. Thanks guys!
you download content from FTP using an FTP manager like cuteftp, wsftp etc.
after you connected to the server, there'll be a tree list-like windows explorer
where you can browse all the files inside and download it to your local computer
by simply drag and drop it

)
HTTP and FTP are different protocols for transfering different types of files.
FTP simply refers to accessing an FTP server to download or upload files. It's
one of the underlying protocols used across the web for uploading content and
downloading non-HTTP style files (although this has changed as of late).
