I figured this was the best forum for this topic, seeing as it does deal with the mind and body. (and I apologize if this exists somewhere else, my searches came up empty ^_^' )

I'm curious to know if anyone has tried alternative healing methods, and wanted to discuss them.

I've been trying gemstone and crystal therapy and such, using stones that I have in my collection. It comes off as a "mind over matter" thing - and I do feel that the majority of the practice is - , but sometimes the use of physical objects (eg: the stones) and visualizations can really help a person to feel better.
Strangely enough, I feel that it actually DOES work to an extent. I don't think it can replace actual medicine, but in spiritual healing and little trivial aches and pains it can be very beneficial.

I've heard that many alternative methods used in conjunction with conventional methods are very beneficial.
THough the only alternative methods i've really heard of are things like acupuncture and the like, this is especially effective with rehab and joint pains

thaink mind healing

magic fairy dust?!?!

the best method is just being as healthy as possible, preventive care is best.

a few words dont use hardcore drugs/medicine only if needed. Use chinese herbal medicine. Better but weird

Alternative Healing...
Human body were designed to heal itself. And there are some kind of system that can make it faster. Life energy flows inside human body sufficient to make a mirracle. The stones or whatever you use work only as catalyst. Well, even though, it's better to keep your body healthy.

Laugh therapy... Aromatherapy... Homeopathy... Belly dancing is a self-healing technique... Kneipp therapy (water therapy)... Meditation... Acupressure... Acupuncture... Hydrotherapy... Light therapy... Yoga...

I suggest Laugh therapy! It's painless, it's good for the soul! It makes your endorphins working! It's good for the abdominal muscles, too!

I love to laugh, can you tell?! ^__^
