i play the guitar. i have an epiphone sunburst les paul and a cheapo crate amp.
and a crybaby wah-wah. i can't read musical notes though played in a
couple of stage performances, and the highlight was winning a campus battle of
the band contest. after that i retired :p
I believe theres a few topics like this one floating around but I'll state it
again anyway.
I play percussion. I've been playing Drums for about 13 years and I've been in
two bands over the last 5-6 years. I love drumming and music is my personal
passion, its how I express myself (Since I don't write poetry anymore).
I play the piano. Grade 7 (United Kingdom) standard. Not anything special. I
play anime songs of course, Onegai Teacher, Love Hina, and others. I listen to
anime music and play by ear...
I'd love to be a master of the guitar, violin and flute/piccolo, and *coughs*
also sing... hihihi
I'm the drummer in a band called Compos Mentis, I'm alright, but not
particularly awesome. . I
can't really sing very well, except in for German songs (Ramms+ein, E Nomine,
Megaherz etc.), which is weird since I'm crap at German.
Ive been playing guitar for about 5 years. Ive got a gibson SG and marshall amp,
but I want a starburst les paul most of all ^^. I play a little piano and bass,
but Im mainly just screwing around with those, im not very good. I want to play
in a band but there doesnt seem to be many musicians where I live, or they're
waaay older than me. For those of you in bands, can you read sheet music and
know theory and stuff?
I play Piano almost all my life, i don't sing because my voice is very strante
and bad i learn play guitar but i don't like it and i learn a little
violin from my grandfather but i never practice a lot.
You must be incredibly skilled at it too. :wistful: I just started playing piano
three years ago, as a hs sophomore, which didn't give me enough time to really
get good at it before I went to college. I love it though, and continue to play
on my own. Don't know when I'll have the time for lessons again though...
I've played the Violin for a good many years. Basically started age 5 or so,
quit for a few years, and played from 3rd grade all the way through senior year
in high school. For the most part i was able to hold a good position, holding
section leader and being able to keep a tempo going for the rest of the section
to follow.
Sadly, my college doesn't have an orchestra problem. *sigh* Not sure if i'll be
able to get some if any practice in this school year.
Just curious to see how musical people are aside from just listening to music... I'm a singer, but I wish I could play a guitar or piano.
