I found this article in the net, and I just wanna share it with you guys.
Gimme your opinions!

Opinion? I liked it. The article was informative and it concerned anime that I really enjoyed as youngster. Thanks much for finding it and sharing it here.

all robot anime? revolutionary

Mecha anime, figures. I can think of at least two other anime series (or movies) that could pass that criteria. I didn't know I knew so much about retro anime, I recognised all but 1 of those titles. Very interesting article.

The only i don't recognise is Space Battleship Yamato
I had no doubt that evangelion is one of 'em

I find that article very lacking. The only one of those that was truely ground breaking was Mobile Suit Gundam for starting the "realistic robot" genre from the exsisting "super robot" types, Macross just followed in Gundam's footsteps. And Eva was just another "super robot" type series with a monster of the week, it did nothing new or pioneering either. And the influences for Gundam were Starship Troopers and Star Wars, not the Lensman Saga, Tomino has stated this himself.

Where are the anime that started the other genres, the "Exotic girlfriend" started by Urusei Yatsura, which a number of series like "Ah My Goddess", "Girls Bravo", "Chobits" and "DearS" can probably be traced back to UY. What about the "Harem" genre which most point to Tenchi Muyo as the first of this kind, and now there's "Love Hina", "Maburaho", "He is My Master" and "Negima".

This person doesn't know what they're talking about.

I have to agree, this isn't a great article. those 4 animes are all Mechas. What about the others?
