Lemon Kiss

I said that I would never,
let my real feelings show.
Could you really ever,
Love someone you didn't know?

Inside I felt alone and blue,
But no one else could see.
I wanted them to see me true,
So I left that part of me.

I used to walk the streets at night,
As if to search for you.
And if to find you made it right,
I'd know you loved me too.

But I never did find,
What I was searching for.
All I did was leave behind,
A part of me, once more.

What do I have left to keep me here?
I don't know what to say.
For all of me, I held so dear,
Had just been thrown away.

And if my story ended now,
I end it without you.
And if you where to hear, somehow,
Are you feeling this love too?
