i've seen some scans and wallpapers of magna carta and they were great.but
limited.anyhow, i'd like to find out more about magna carta so can anyone
explain to me what its about?like the storyline or maybe even websites(english)
where i can find good images
For images, just google Hyung-tae Kim, he's the illustrator. As for Magna Carta,
it's a Korean PC game turned PS2 game (in short). You can get a review of it on
any game site.
I've played and beaten this game and I must say, I LOVED it. Quite possibly my
fav rpg for the ps2. The story's about a war between the humans and the Yason in
a place called Efferia. The Yason are native to Efferia while the humans came
there as settlers. Think colonial america and the relationship between the
European settlers and the natives. The story's kinda like that. This game has a
really good story imo, and its got a unique battle system which involves timed
attacks, moving around, chi (which is essentially the element of the
environment), trust, and a bunch of other stuff. The music is good too, but
beware the terrible opening theme though. Still though, I have to point out that
this game is hated by a lot of people. Unfortunately extremely bad loading times
and it's a very slow paced game turn 90% of people away from it. Love Hyung-tae
Kim's art though.

lol me either. Well Magna Carta is basically a game with a great storyline but
unfortunately the battle system and loading times kill it. I think it's one of
those games that will go unoticed and only a small fan based group will develop.
I frankly don't know what score to give it because I'm still undecided. I like
the storyline very much but it progresses very slowly and the leveling up is
pain because you are limited to how many enemies you encounter, thus leveling up
is restricted. In a way it's good because it makes the game more challenging but
the battle system is nothing to get too excited about; unique, yes, but not
great. I haven't finished it but I hope to soon. I put the game down about
halfway through and began playing Shadow Hearts: Covenant, so that should tell
you something. The graphics are also a bit outdated. I'd suggest you rent it and
see if you like it.
oh and yes the opening song is horrible, they should've kept the original,
korean version. I don't know who sings the opening theme but believe me, it
sounds like a bad american idol audtion.
I've played "The teras of blood" version of Crimson Stigmata and I
liked the opening theme very much. The game is brilliant, my the MOST favourite
RPG! But the story was quite sad... Anyway I liked it really much and I almost
cried when I finished it.
Love Orha!
Just grab a few trailers and check it out. The reviews were mostly positive, but
the general consesnus was that the PS2 had better RPGs. The fancy battle system
wasn't a good as it should've been.

Yeah the game is good in terms of storyline and graphics, but it sucks in terms
of FMVs, there so random in the actual game and theres only 3! Also I wanted the
game to go into flashbacks or something about each characters past (especially
the tears of blood group) and there were some relationships they never explained
or did'nt go into. The game itself is good, but the way they went about telling
things or showing things sucked! ^_^
Buy it anyway with the artbook!
