for me, the perfect anime is one that has comedy, drama, and action. why?
because i love to laugh, i like a story with a good plotline, and i like to be
kept entertained. some of my top animes would be rurouni kenshin, fruits basket
(though i like the manga a helluva lot better), samurai champloo, and bleach.
(i've read more manga that fit my criteria than watched anime...)
Drama, comedy, Romance, action and Suspences.
Like Bleach, naruto, Inuyasha and Love Hina.
Just Love a good storyline. I love it when they go more then 26 episodes.
i dont know, do you have a name for serial experiments lain, akira or mushishi
... something around cyberpunk or psychadelic maybe? because i'm not really sure
if i'd call it action/mystery/sci-fi ... at least i wouldn't call it that way
... i think it's a bit more than that.

It really doesnt matter to me. I like all categories as long as the story is cool.

with anime you never know what you'll end up liking, for example a recent fav of mine is yakitate japan...an anime about bread making!

Hmmm, I like all type anime as long they are worth to watch, but the type i liked the most is action with Sci-fi and comedy too.
