I'm looking for a action/magic type stuff with a bit of romance in it

Ah! My Goddess, has bitta action in it at times, and seeing as there are goddesses, lotsa magic and is a comedic romantic series

the manga has been going for 17 years

there is a 5 ep OVA, A movie and a TV series

hm... the only ones that i can recommend are Chrno Crusade and Scrapped Princess... Chrno Crusade is my fave!

I think Fullmetal Alchemist is very good. I read the manga and I like the anime a lot, because you can see a kind of magic ( alchemie) and fights, love and other things. Many peope like it ^^

What about Magister Negi Magi? It's about a magician kid who is the teacher of a 30-girls-class! A bit ecchi (if you don't like it) but great!

D.N.Angle is perfect for this subject i mean its got action, romance, and magic IT'S PERFECT!......except it only has 10 vol.'s in the series

I really like Full Metal Alchemist even though there's no really any romance.

If you like shoujo, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is a good magical girl manga (I really like how the main relationship evolves).

Bleach is definetely good but it's still running...and it's quite long...Fushigi Yuugi perhaps? It's a 52 episodes anime with 3 ova series, and 18 manga tankoubons...it's quite nice and it has all the elements you asked for...

Tenjo Tenge isnt short (the manga is still running, there are like 15 volumes atm). Action/really ecchi/a bit of romance. I'm reading it right now and its kinda cool. The anime sux tho...

Mai Hime is very good, same with Mai Otome. The first one has finnished already at 26 (or was it 25?) eps, Mai Otome is still running but there should be 26 as well. Action/magical girls/romance/a bit ecchi.

full metal alchemist is good, i like school rumble. gto is also my fave but it ended

Orphen is a pretty good magic/adventure anime, Gokudo is a pretty good adventure/comedy anime, and Chrono Cursade is also a pretty good magic/adventure anime.

Has to be D.N.Angel it ihas a romace,magic,and action oh and it's not too short...^_^

To read I would recommend Hot Gimmick, It's fairy romantic-nothing blowing up but definate conflict. It has some very inteesting characters too.
