So, do you prefer God or Mother Nature?
in case o desbelieve in both, Who do you think it is more plauseable to exist?

You know the descriptions and the texts and you eared a lot abour God, But imagine Mother Nature. She is someone who kill just for pleasure, Who preserves the strongest and Who is able to make the beautifuls landscapes we have ever seen.

So, Who do you prefer?

I prefer both, once they are like the Yin and the Yang. they are one only, but with diferent personality's and diferent forms.

GOD I mean even back when mother nature was hot she was no match for a dude who created himself his son and there combined spirt compared to a broad that was created by god so defintly GOD he came first

hmm..... mother nature... in the context of your way of saying the nature of the world......

I wouldnt say that "mother nature" kill for pleasure...... death is a neccessity of life unless you believe in infinity and that we have inifinite resources.....

I wouldnt choose god coz i dont think there is one.... even if i do..... wouldnt god=mother nature? or something lesser than nature.....? coz nature is the system of the world..... you have to follow or have rules to exist.....

one thing to criticise about...... ppl seems to think that nature is all green and plants or "fresh" but shouldnt nature be more like the system of the world... like ying and yang?..... like there is a certain limit that something can hold b4 they have to collapse and start anew? ........

I believe in God.

Mother Nature is simply a personification of nature. It isn't real. However, it is much more believable to me than God. God is suppose to be perfect and he's not. There are a variety of reasons why but this is not the thread for them. Nature is not perfect. I don't think anyone even considers her perfect. I find that that is much more reasonable than a perfect God who isn't perfect.

mther nature...

mother nature? Isn't that the fat lady from "the smurfs"?

Mother Nature

To be completely honest, I never thought Mother Nature exsisted. Why, you ask? It's because it was GOD Himself who created the Earth, and us as well.

Some people may think maybe they are both one person ... but to me, one person in GOD. No one can replace the All Mighty Father, and anyone would be damned to hell if they even tried.
-_-;;

Both of course...she is after all his creation...a lesser god if you will.

It came to me that perhaps "Mother Nature" also known as cosmos/universe, befor the existence of universe as we know it today, created God. Commending him to create a memorial that represents her as she thought of herself. As a beautiful, chaotic, and repetitive she was he did what was asked. Creating the universe as we know it today, not knowing when to stop or perhaps to get evenGod created humans. Destroying everything we come in contact with.

I go for Mother Nature...at less it teaches us to work with nature instead of giving us the control of all animals like God (which I suspict why ppls have no respect with nature)

erm..... to all the Christian believers who believe god is above mother nature and think that god created her........ ok...... tell me...... when did the bible say that god created "mother nature"? or it is just one of your !@#$ thoughts to make Christianity looks more powerful........?

sry about that...... i couldnt stand it no more......

I will view this from the point of science. There are a group of scienctise that studied the structure of bactariors. These little things have a tail that moves them around and the structure of the engen that moves the tail is as complicated as the engen of the car! So these scientiset belived that there must be a creator that designed all this and not by accident like Mother Nature. eg, if you drop a bad of letters on the ground, how probable is it to form the letter "Shakespear" on the ground? Every time you see the word Shakespear you know someone must have written it or form it. Its the same reason, so there must be a creator and that the world must be designed to act the way it has, and no accidents could have formed it.

God sits back and watches.

Mother Nature KILLS.

God made nature...

Mother nature may let the stronger ones live and the weaker ones die, but god ain't doing anything to help that. I prefer none of them.

God made the universe...

...the rest is evolution.

A bit of both i think....................yeah a bi of both in a wa.

Nein!

There's a thin line between those concepts.

In Wiccaning, Mother Nature is considered as their God or as they call it Goddess.

Since the beggining of times, one said to us that God was the Earth and Universe creator. But that single one was written in a book that supposedly a man wrote illuminated by God.

I am not saying that that is wrong... I just saying that they are many theories about, which theory is right...

I don't follow any religion, for that reason my postulation, but if I can say that any God does not exist that has been described in all those books. There just only one exists simply, and that is the mother earth or mother nature, that simultaneously I call Life.

That's my ideas, you can share it or dismissed it.

Thank you.

As you described them from the outset? I choose neither.
Mother Nature/Gaia/The Goddess/The Mother etc... is a different thing to just about every society, same goes for God/Allah/Jehova/Jesus etc... I take the path that the world beget humans and all the other things around us. If it was the world or us who first decided that another ideal was needed (i.e. god) who knows. There's room for many things in the world, why not beyond it?

Mother nature is only a concept of personification of the nature. Is not real is a fantasy. Some people believe in nature, but nature cannot think, decide or do something for us. Instead we need to protect nature.

There's only one God who's over all. One God who answers when we call. Only one Almighty God. The Creator of the universe. Any other way or thought different to these principles are fantasies, mere fairy tales.

Question: Why is it that the world accepts the concept of Mother Nature and do not decide to prove Nature wrong? Yet, when someone mentions their faith in God, it becomes entirely unacceptable?

Example being in a school: I remember my teachers talking about Mother Nature and her wonders, but I don't EVER recall my teachers mentioning the word "God" or anything related to religion.

After all, Mother Nature is just a personification of nature itself, as so many of you have already pointed out, and is what many believe to be the only "true creator" of everything in this world. But in that case, wouldn't the acceptance of Mother Nature make it a religion in itself?

Why is it, then, that God is not a plausible explanation? That God created everything in this universe, is this idea too complex for people to understand?

of course god
