Ok im not sure how many people download MKV files and use them, but i was haveing an argument with a friend of mien the other day because he said its is impossible to Burn MKV files to o DVD, but i have figured out 2 ways. One you use DVD Santa Just load the MKV file up add subtitle file and Burn, but if you want want one which is like a proper DVD you need a few programs. 1. MKV tooNIX, 2 MKVextract gui, Blaze Media Pro and Adobe Encore pro 1.5.

With those programs its pretty simple You extract your mkv with selected audio tacks, video track sand subtitle track to a specified folder use the MKV extractor gui, Then load the video file into Blaze media Pro, rezise it to what ever resultion you see fit and is compatible with Adobe encore (This is diffrent depending on wether you use PAL or NTSC to burn) Once the video has been resized just load the video file and all the audio and subtitle tracks you want into adobe Encore and add them to the video file again, create your menu's, DVD controls and audio set up and then Burn.

THis is just my guide for anyone who didnt know how to burn mkv's to dvd. If anyone hasd a less tiem consumeing method Please share it with me =p

ANyway i hope this is useful to a few people =)
