It was stupid to me well to be more prcise I hated it! (no not because they're
were gays in it! I'm not predjudice or anything.) I just didn't like the way the
plot was. It was dull...oh well who cares about me. What did you think of it?
Since it was so politically liberal, it will probably win an oscar. that is how
the Oscars are nowadays, Socially liberal while artistically conservative.
Movies that push the boundaries of cinematography and art never win oscars, or
at least any major ones.
Quote by SakuraChronicleMan, my
friend went a saw it and said it was the gayest movie of all time! From what she
said, they showed them having sex..and thats just nasty!
Y'all are so narrow minded.....so what? if they loved each other, it shouldn't
matter if they're gay or not...(and the fact that they're men.....[i bet if it
were two girls y'all be all over the f-ing screen....>.>.].and just
because "they're gay" doesn't mean that your gay or anything as
well.....
~i do plan on watching it though, it sounds good....
Brokeback Mountain in my opinion is a good movie, well played out and well
directed. A really good story with great cinematography. Ang Lee is a genius.
But at times I felt wierd watching this movie during some scenes...and who
would've thought....gay cowboys.
But let me tell you this.....I will never look at Heath Ledger and Jake
Gyllenhal the same way...ever again.
Um... don't want to be rude but you don't need to be gay to watch a movie with
homosexuals. If you dislike it... then you dislike it but don't just insult
people because of that...
For me, there was just too much sex. The boys went at it... the girls wents at
it with the boys... and then they did it again! Just too much! Then for me, I
have to agree with the first post, the story was just so dull. I was a little
dissapointed in it. I only got interested near the end but by then... yeah...
don't want to spoil it.
It was okay I guess but I didn't think it deserved all that praise. There are
much more revolutionary and eye opening movies that have more meaning then
Brokeback Mountain.

well said I agree with you.
damn, I sure hate close minded people...
just because I watched it and I like yaoi, doesnt mean im gay, since im 100%
stright.
and on to the topic, I didn't really like it much, but it was fairly good, I
felt kinda odd in some parts, but overall worth it, if you like that kind of
stuff...
I only like yaoi, but... for some odd reason I cant stand real life.

.
Same judgement, i saw during a festival where the seance is at less price and
finally it is a good film.
The gay thing is not so shocking, it is important for the story
Yup! Sure was. It's coming out on DVD April 4th.:nya: I'm guessing you'll be
buying like all these other sympathlizers right?
Ah, I think I've said too much.
I don't really think that just for watching BBM you have to be gay...
I watched it with my family, and they were not shocking at all. 'Cause we've
watched other shows, absolutelly more shocking than that, like "Queer as
Folk", "OZ" and "The L Word"...
Anyway, the fact that I am gay, and I live with other gays & lesbians have
made some changes in my way of thinking.
I LOVED it....They were in LOVE people com'on LOVE is LOVE, Ya so wut if they
had sex ONCE(if i may say). The movie only shows one scene THATS IT(the guys
scene). Ya they did show the man and women TWICE! but you know it is Rated R for
a REASON, if you knew it was about gay cowboys then WHY did you go SEE
it?!?!?!?!
And yes i'm a Yaoi lover too! and no i'm not a lesbo or gay or bi...
The director did a really good job on it, if i may say so. And i'm not calling
anyone names or anything, just to tell you. You guys all have opinions, and i
RESPECT that.
P.S. The ending was just so sad I really wanted them to be together..
Who on earth cares that it was gay cowboys? Watching a movie that features gay
people makes you gay? WTF? WOULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW THAT WORKS? No? Then shut
up. If you don't like gays, don't watch the movie, but don't criticise it either
for being "gay". And by the way, a movie, being an inanimate object,
cannot be "gay". Living things can be gay, like people, penguins, or
possums.
Why people always talk about what they don't know, but "have
heard"?
I think it's totally uncool (this is nothing personal, ok?), 'cause you always
want people think you rock. Or (at least) that you know about what you're
talkin'. So, if you heard something, go and verify it. If you think, based in
your own experience, that BBM stinks, that will be your idea. Absolutely YOURS
and nobody else's. I think you (not all of you, but mostly the teens) need to
love your own ideas. Because they're something really precious, rare, unique,
and they got a part of you.
See ya!
PS: A18 is not a bad person, but his english may be rude. If there's some hurted
feelings, he apologizes sincerely. See ya again.
I watched it some time ago but I hope my opinion still counts.
It was ok but the end was just sooooooo . . . . so sad!
I was almost crying at the end. It's not fair.
I have to say it was quite nice, but I just don't get the lovemaking scene. I
mean it was suppose to be the cutest scene (they didn't show anything at all).
Everything was ok, to the point when they start making those strange voices. I
don't remember anything like that in Queer as Folk. (ok it was the first time
for both of them, but still, no no no)

lol
i heard on the news that george bush was asked if he liked it or if he watched it
but anyways i never saw it before and i dont plan on watching it
