I was wondering about how much of other peoples computers are devoted to anime?
I have 2.02 GB of Manga and 93.9 GB of Animes. Personally i dont think that it
is alot but most my friends tell me im wrong
I don't realy have a computer devoted to anime
anymore (I still have a 300gb external hard drive where I stored anime back when
I was downloading and keeping unlicensed stuff though.)
I only have a 60gb HD and I'd say 70% of it is filled with anime. Then about
another 40gb of anime on CD. I've been too lazy to burn anime lately, and I
haven't found ones that I like enough that are worth burning.
i don't have that much of anime on my computer. I keep the good ones on cd but
the rest of them i delete it. I don't really think i would watch so many of my
old ones again.
I used to have almost 500 GB's for anime only (you know how much chessy
downloading is), but it ended belonging to my favorite series. Besides, programs
such as Maya, RenderMan, Softimage, SQL, Oracle DB and Photoshop tends to use
most of you HD space, a lot more if your machine is a server.
Last time i checked 260 GB worth of Fansub anime, 12 GB of manga and 125 DVD
anime.
buying a new 300 GB HDD today for more as my old drive ran out of space.
Ive got 2 laptops and 2 desktops and all have anime some where in the HDD.
including in my iPod and PSP. XP
I have 100 GB of anime on my hard drives. I burn off a series as soon as it's
done, so those 100 GB are just incomplete ones. In addition, I have 300 DVDs of
anime too, don't have enough hard drives to keep them all on there.
I don't have any hardware dedicated to anime but I do have about 250gb worth of
anime pics, anime wallpapers, and anime music videos (and I am still
collecting).
In reality I'd love to get a digital storage and access system and convert all
my DVDs (about 600 or so are anime) to digital media for on demand playback.
Those systems are kinda expensive though.
My computer i totally devoted to anime lol. Out of 200gb of HDD space I have,
about 160 is used for anime/manga/anime music/anime wallies etc. And it's still
growing, without my DVD burner I would be doomed :P
I can't count how many gb of anime i have on cd/dvd, but i already have 130gb on
my hdd...
Anime/manga/wallpepers/ost use most of my hdd space... I need to burn a lot of
dvd to make some free space...
But recently i started to dump more anime than before... Maybe there are more
and more anime downloadable on the web, so the quality is lowering...
My computer has become heavy duty for anime. It has an 80 Gb hard-drive for
general computer useage and storage. I then have a 300 GB external hard-drive
which is my anime goldmine (plus other miscs) 170 Gb of anime on it (which grows
by about 15-20 Gb a month), only 1 Gb of manga, over 3 Gb of wallpapers and
other images mostly from MT also
another 8 Gb of AMVs and the like. Adding to that again i have just over 10 Gb
of anime OSTs. I'll let you do the maths.
Nearly all of this data has also then been backed up on DVDs (a hell of a lot of
DVDs) and i also have a second internal hard-drive with 300gb of storage space
which will become more used when my other 300 Gb runs out. At all times my
computer is running 680 Gb of hard-drive space however i also have a second
external hard-drive of 120 GB meaning if i REALLY wanted to i could be running
800 Gb at one time .
Sorry if i'm bragging but i think i'm doing ok considering i paid for all the
hard-drives myself. The funny thing is there are people out there with twice
that, I have a friend who i now compete with (and sometimes trade with), but i
think he cheats because he builds his collection along with his brother.
I have around 150 dvdr's of anime range about 75gb I guess...about 40gb on the
computer right now, and just bought me a brand new 400gb HD to store it all on,
and a 32inch widescreen tv to use as my computer monitor to watch it all on YAY!
Most of my computer time is somehow related to anime, looking up info, reading
anime forums, looking at pictures(I have collected over 11,000 not including
manga's) Not to mention I have 80 ACTUAL Anime dvd's I have purchased.
I've got a 150 GB of anime right now (2 HD's - 250 and 80) so it's about 45% of
free space but only because 250 GB disk was bought recently - so it's gonna be
more soon .

I only have 39 GB, but I just started my collection a few weeks ago, and I need another hard drive if I am going to continue adding more.
500gb of my hardisk is full with anime, manga and anime mp3.
i also use anime wallpaper, icons, screen savers and a lot more.

I only have 30-50 gigs on HDD but most of its on DVD and CDs.... if u count them i have over 500 gigs

i have a 120gb hard drive dedicated to anime and i used 84gb of space. I keep short series in my main 80 gb HD.

almost all files in my computer are anime. i'm always running low on memory bec. of it.

Nothing on the comp. All the anime's burnt on about 150+ DVDs ^_^
