So far, in my Sophomore year in high school, I haven't been acting very seriously. Well, some of my classes such as German, English, and Driver's Ed. *sigh* It's mainly because I'm absent once or a few times about every week! In the 1st Quarter, I was concentrated and ready for anything that came in my way. By the time it reached up to 2nd Quarter, I slacked off and was absent like crazy! Now, I'm like, "heh...who cares?" or "I need to catch up...f**king bad!" Eh, somewhere between the two...Hey, look...I'm not gonna drop out of high school, okay? I've seen how people lived without finishing HS (through commercials)...Through their careless actions, there are severe consequences!

no becuz school for me is all fun and i get all my aaa's and bbb's some times ccc's lol and 1 d lol

Where I come from, merit decides your future; so what real choice do I have?

I finally took high school a bit more seriously halfway through my sophmore year, i'm not on my second semester of my senior year in high school and getting ready for college. Trust me, now is the time to turn around; I found that taking school more seriously made it all the easier actually. It's when you try balancing a job (like i'm doing now) that it becomes difficult. But yeah, take it seriously, otherwise start looking at community colleges.

yeah, i must
i've got some conditional offers from some universities, so i needa work harder =)

of course, for education is a vital element which plays a major role in the future

...yes ^.^..and im proud to say that ^.^...if my mom were here.. and i wasnt doing good in school she would be so disopointed...even if shes not here .. im still going to make her proud ^.^...just last week i got 100 on my science test i was sooo happy ^.^ i stood up alll night studying..^.^'

I do. Maybe I am too serious sometimes. It's just stressful since I am trying to complete the last year of my Biochemistry BSc with a good standing.

Erm...um...lol.No.Sorry. Im not serious with school.

But I always pass my grades at the third and fourth quester so it's ok. Lol. I catch up eventually.Oooh...Im a bad girl..><

Ever since college has started, I've become more studious. Maybe subconciously I'm thinking that how I do in college will determine the happiness of the rest of my life. However, I think I could be taking it more seriously. I'm still doing the usual procrastination on papers and speeches o.O Too many games....too much fun...

I don't;))
I suppose those who passed entrance exams to the university at once aren't real anime fans.^^
/me recollects Love Hina, Chobits etc. =)
I did it three times actually O_O

Yea I suppose, school is the thing that IS serious about this world. It doesnt matter much about the normal school days but when exams come up everyones in their dens studying. So, how much they may deny or say its habit people who wanna get somewhere in life really do care about school.

well I'm going to an art college right now......and like I'm starting to hate classes cause i have freakin 4 art classes......its so hard to focus on each.........high school days were better when i had one art class......its hard to pull all nighters with art work too! man also it takes me about an hour an a half in the morning ot get their from 5 50 am to 7 00 am.....soooo right now fudge school...........

i'm not always serious, sometimes i take it too easy >.<
i'm in high school 2 years before graduation, sometimes i feel i even don't have planning for the next 2 years n here am i, listenin to music doin nothin...but 2 years is long, i'll think bout it later hehehe...

I took it more seriously when I was little than I'm taking the uni right now. I think it's not worth to spend all your time studying to get the best grades because that won't mind when you are looking for a job, they would just as you to have your degree (at least what I'm studying).
Also, getting good marks on exams, doesn't mind that you are good at it; it can means that you have good memory or that you cheated on the exam. In my opinion, getting good marks on projects is more important, since you are doing something that goes beyond of memorizing stuff.

Yup...right now, I'm in middle school about to go into high school and I used to take school a lot more seriously when I was a kid but right now, I care more about having fun. I blame the hormones.

Yes I do. That's why I"m not on Minitokyo that often but I try hard to have a bit of fun sometimes. :) Schoolwork is something that I do to keep my mind busy sometimes. It can be frustrating though.

I have to be serious, because I'm in college. I slacked off in my junior and senior years of high school and nearly didn't graduate, so taking school seriously is imperitive.

Nope.

i kinda haveto.... im takin a college level course in my junior yr of highschool the works hard so i cant get left behind... right now im tryin to get on point...
but i always find time to have fun and chill out

Yes, I try to be. Lately, I haven't been doing too well. I got a really low GPA (Grade Point Average) last grading period. This time I got a bit higher. When i was in 7th grade, I used to always get a very high GPA. but then I started get worse and worse. The only classes I ever get A all the time are PE and algebra.

Yes. I seem lazy, and I procrastinate all the time, but I actually care a lot.

Well, year 10, 9, 8 etc really never mattered before, but now it kinda does. I'm in the preliminary year (Year 11), which, I'm going to do well, so that I've got some idea of what's going on when I finally do my HSC...(final year exams...Think SAT)

Kind of, high school is killing me! -_-I don't care if i get a's or b's but i do care abouth f's. I dont want to get bad marks so i studdy really really hard, and in the end i accidentally get kind of sick cause lack of sleep. ^_^' :hmpf:
