I searched, and couldn't find a thread like this, so I thought I'd give it try. ^_^

Basically, what's your school like? Is it a small school in the middle of nowhere with small class sizes, or is it in a big city with a lot of students?

I go to a small private school in a mid-sized city. There's only 32 people in my grade, the seniors (woot!), although the junior class below us has about 60 people (boo!). Because we're small, we don't have many class options, and teachers usually teach more than one grade level of a subject. That's actually pretty useful though, because all the teachers are really cool and you know what to expect from them. :)

When i finished the scholl there were two groups of thirty people. because in the city in which i live there were a lot of small schools.
I went to a public school and i made a lot of friends but now 12 years later i don´t know anything about them.

When I was at school it had about a thousand students in it, ages from 13 to 16. There were a lot of classes in each year group, I think it was at least 8, and each class had around 25-30 students. Dunno if that's a lot or a little, can't really compare it since I only went to that one school :D

i go to a small privet school, with about 30 kids in the whole year, but ive been to a school that had 7 kids in my year!

The school I go to is scattered all over the town, divided into different departments which can be a hassle when you have one lessons in one, and then forced to go to the other for next one. And they're not exactly close either, but the teachers try their best to keep everything at one place. Oh, and it's a university I go to. XP It's pretty big, but when compared to the larger ones in the country, it's relatively small.

I go to a school sonsiting of 950 students (give or take a few) a large majority are Muslim (boo) and foriegn.

i go to the convent girl school and no, it is not a convent..it WAS a convent fifty years ago.. located in the middle of the town...30 student per class..6 class per year...i kinda proud being in a girl school!~

I feel sorry for them that they have to share a school with someone like you >_>

I go to a relatively small private college of about 2500 students. We're er... ^^; we're pretty far up... you'd have to drive up the mountain, but we have a beautiful view of the ocean, the valley, and the city. It was only about five or so years ago that my school decided to go co-ed and even now, there are very few (about a dozen) male students and they're only accepted when going into the nursing program. The students here are pretty smart, most of us would have to be to get a scholarship. Basically, if you get below a 2.0 gpa, you lose your scholarship, are unable to pay the tuition, and have to leave. It's quite sad, but it keeps the school's standards high. The nursing students have it really bad here actually. We have to get a 3.0 science gpa to get into the actual nursing program. :(

Most of the student who attend this college are majoring in nursing, biology (pre-med), sociology, or psychology.

I go to a small community college not far from the Ohio State University. It's small, nothing special to talk about, but the education offered is good.

i go to a fairly small high school in the middle of nowhere...classes are pretty packed though, its all black and white nearly 40/60

I'm at University now, but the schools I went to include a Catholic Primary School (... not enjoyable), and a completely average College/High School.

My school is officially known as a public school, but really, we call it a public private school...dunno exactly why but...yeah.

My school is like close to the outskirts of the city, the population is growing rapidly, so our classes are getting to be overcrowded but unfortunately we don't have enough room to accomadate everyone. My school is a well known catholic school and it is quite new (around 14 year I believe). Truthfully I would not go to this school if i had any other options but since I'm running out of high school years... might as well stick with the best there is around here.

University, a technologic institute to be specific.
Im currently coursing my 4th semester of Mechanical Engeneering.

How many students?'mmm, i think a few thousands.

I went to a fairly large public high school and now go to a moderately large public university. I think there were around 600 people in my graduating class for high school. There are 10 to 20 thousand students at my college (I'd say a large college would have upwards of 30,000 students).

WoW so many peoples that got so few students in their school o.O the school i go is is LIverpool girls' high [australia] . it has about 1010 girls in it. its kinda stupid tho, because the boys school [liverpool boys' high] is like right next to the girls school! i sometimes wonder why dont they just combind the 2 schools together? oh well. im happy with the way the school is right now [at lest i dont have boys starting at you all the time].
well in Taiwan the primary i went to had nearly 5000 students. and we had about.... average 43 kids in one class and about 20 class 4 each grade. i remember we had a pool in our school^^. but the primary school i went in australia was soooo small! only 300 students!

I go to the University of Alberta [http://www.ualberta.ca]. It is located in the capital city in one of the provinces in Canada. The school itself is not small at all. It is joint with a University College in the same city, and with another University College just outside the city. We currently have roughly around 35,500 students (not including professors and staff).

Some of the classes are small whereas others can be extremely large. My Japanese class only holds a maximum of 30 students because most of us are first-time learners. And learning a second language requires direct one-on-one interactions between the students and the professor. But my lecture classes (like Psychology) holds a maximum of 400.

I'm currently in my 3rd year (second semester) studying Criminology, which is a branch of the Bachelor of Arts. I will be graduating in a year or two (depending on my class schedules and work placement) but hopefully when I graduate, I will land a job at the National Police agency working as criminal profiler, crime analyst or train as a Crown Prosecutor with the Criminal Law courts.

It's a profile high school in a small town which I live in. It's placed in a very nice park with lots of flowers, trees and a small lake. I go there by a long wide road, with lots of tries from both sides creating a great looking natural tunnel and a lake behind the tries from one side. Now that I think about it, it looks great.

i go to a really stupid school. lol, but no seriously. it's a public school. its real small compared to the surounding schools. classes are boring, but the girls are ok and thats all that matters

I got to a public university with over 50,000 students. Quite crowded I must say. :\

I went to a semi-public school, means that the teachers are paid by the Government but the building.. the fees rest on us.. Its in the city, roughly less than 2000 students attend my former school. durng my year, there's 11 classes for us seniors, averaging 35-40 per class. my class has 46 students.. when u do the math, there's 375 students in my year alone...
