that's one difficult question to answer
i forget the majority of the dreams the instant i wake up.
Except for the ones that really stand out, but even then its hard to answer, but
it feels more like the dream controls you :P
but that's attach at ur mood... if u r in the capacity to do it, or to support
it:S
u understand... So long ago, i was able to dream about whatever i want, i was
very difficult but no imposible, i didnt do it casually but i did it two or 3
times, its fun, very fuuuuuuuun.
Unfortunately I can't... even if there are number of times when I know I'm
dreaming... or maybe I just dream that I know I'm dreaming.
There's only when I begin to sleep that I can give the start but after it is out
of my hands. But I think it may be better that way so I see something different
than my daydreams.
dreaming is a state of mind acheived when the mind is at rest, and dreams i
think are overviews of things u did that day, or things u thought about or didnt
even realize you thought about. so i you wanted to try to control your dreams,
you should act carfully suring the day?
I dun tink so, cuz when ever i try to wake up it will pull back to the dream,
i`m troubled too but sometimes what i dream will appear in my real life which i
find it interesting
I think it comes down to choice...I do NOT want to control my dreams because the
ones that I have now are dreams that I could never come up with myself. I guess
because I don't nightmare and have dreams that others would consider to be
nightmares the need to control my dreams just isn't attractive to me. Now don't
get me wrong there are some times when I want to control my dreams (KNOCKS ON
WOOOOOOD!) like when I loose something and want to remember where I put it but
can't at the critical moment. That really makes me twitch but since it doesn't
happen that often then I don't even consider relinquishing control of my dreams
to myself. I love my violent, sexual, Anime inspired dreams that I wouldn't give
up for the world. Wooo hooo!
I don't want to control my dreams because i might end up dreaning the same
dreams all over again... which would really piss me off...
Nevertheless, we people unconsciously control our dreams. We often dream of the
things we feel important that we overlooked
yes it's possible and it's called lucid dreaming. it always happens when a
person gets conscious of being in a dream. suddenly you see everything clear and
you can decide for yourself what you want to do in your dream. without
practicing you will get thrown out of your dream in no time because there is a
"WTF? what am i doing here, oh cool it's my dre...oh no it's fading, i'm
awaking nooooo" moment and your lying in your bed without to know what
happend.
so being in a lucid dream is something between dreaming and awaking. normaly
your body is still asleep but your mind is not. you get nervouse because you
don't know how to handle this situation and that's about it.
now if you practice there are ways to 1. have more lucid dreams and 2. stay for
a longer time in them but generally speaking you have to stay calm, don't do
anything in your dream what would make your heart beat faster (that goes to all
of the guys with perverted minds :P ), don't think too much because that will
get you to concentrated and throw you out of the dream, too, and it's very
important to let things happen as you would only observ everything around
you.
i know it sounds easy, but it really depends on the person and in which
condition he/she is. normaly i dream more in the holidays. dreaming more can
bring you a step closer to lucid dreams because if you start remembering your
dreams you start noticing when you dream, too. so sleeping good and enough
without stress and so on can help a lot.
i personaly had a few experiences with lucid dreams but i cannot really say that
they were of any use to me because they didn't last long. but practically one
could say that EVERYTHING you think of is possible, if you think that you can
fly you fly, if you think that there is a person in front of you there will be a
person etc. BUT you should never forget that you are in the world of dreams,
i.e. very strange things can happen around you. that you can control what you
are doing doesn't change the fact that you cannot control the world. i think
that the world one sees is made of subconscious thoughts at least as long you
cannot control it, too.
but as too any kind of esoteric topics you really have to experience it yourself
to believe in it. controling dreams can be fun, but you really have to observ
what is going on arround you, even after you awake you should write the things
down you've experienced etc.
hmm... GOMF is right about the lucid dreams. i try not to do it because i loose
sleep easily that way .
although i'm not entirely sure about being able to do everything while you're
dreaming. after all, there's only so much that your subconscious could make. and
sometimes you'll get an after-effect, i had a nasty headache once when i tried
to imagine myself experiencing a jump of the roof of a skyscraper. it makes you
feel winded and you'll wake up feeling clammy, like you actually did
it.
and it's really stressful.... but most of the time, the dreams are just
fragments of what you were thinking before you went to bed.
Well I've heard that you can control your dreams but I'm not really sure how.
But there was one aspect of my dreams that I was able to change though. My
falling dreams would always wake me up after I crashed into the ground and I'm
not very happy when I wake up in the morning anyways and that in my opinion
wasn't a good way to wake up. So I started to slow down my falling, and I was
able to stop the rude awakenings. I even remember a dream where I was flying and
someone was chasing me and as I was falling I started waking up but I forced
myself to keep flying it was actually pretty cool.
I've only had a lucid dream once. I knew I was in a dream and I flew! That was
the best dream ever. That was like 5-6 years ago and I havent been able to have
any lucid dreams anymore...
I love dreaming, sometimes I wish I could control them but maybe its better if I
dont. I usually hope I have a dream that I remember before I go to sleep, but
generally if I think about it too much it doesnt happen, and dreams are your
subconcious mind so what you think about before going to sleep isnt always what
your dreams are about.
Well. I think dreams are somehow controling emotions ( even if you don't
remember them ).Bad dream make you feel depresed, good one make you feel joy.But
if you are able to control your emotions , it's possible to dream whatever you
want. But you have to be completely cool at the moment. Any side feelings has to
be "Off".
Ofcorse it would be only my opinion, If it wans't happend to me .
I can say ya it's was damn bad feeling , even i dream joyful dream.
Well. Take care ya
Yah..i rememeber one really clearly..it seems like everytime i try and control
my dream, i get nightmares.
Once i dreamt i was at the zoo and then my dad was like 'aimi ur in a dream get
us out of here' and so i thought of something and ended up in a cage and then i
was getting bitten by something and when i woke up i had stabbing pains and pins
and needles thoughout my body.. try and
avoid the chances of controlling ur dreams.
Me I think dreams are like SunSpots said with a little more
stuff.
Quote by SunSpotsdreams i think are
overviews of things u did that day, or things u thought about or didnt even
realize you thought about.
And I think the brain try to make relation betwen the things you did that day,
or things you thought about or didn't even realize you thought about and all the
things you saw and learn in your life.Exemple:Today you watch (fast &
furious)
and when you will sleep maybe you wil dream about (need for speed) or be a
racer.I remember a day I got a conflict whit my mother before go to bed and I
was upset so I said to her bad night(a little childish,I was young)and I'v been
the one who got a bad night,I make a nightmare. But its sure that the brain got
something to do with the dreams. And yes we can control our dreams but after its
all its more a projection you make then make a dream. The dreams are complicated
to explain like the brain.
Is this possible?
I mean sometimes when you are dreaming in your sleep you are aware that it is a dream, but most of the time you are not.
Is there any way to be aware of dreaming everytime? And is it possible to control the dream and change it as I wish?
Someone please reply...........

I am not sure if it really applies in the CITYHALL Forum.

lol why not?
This is very important, if successful, I can play God, even if only in my dreams.
btw, why no reply from you to the countries disscussion huh?
lucid dreaming its called i think,is that what you mean? to control dreams?
Unfortunately I can't... even if there are number of times when I know I'm dreaming... or maybe I just dream that I know I'm dreaming.

It might be possible for some people, but I can't! My mind is random.

Ya it's most possible. It just takes practice and dedication.
Here's a thread about it
If you really need links I can post them, but for the most part it can all be found online.
I dun tink so, cuz when ever i try to wake up it will pull back to the dream, i`m troubled too but sometimes what i dream will appear in my real life which i find it interesting
