I'm not sure if it's effecting anyone else, but I've recently noticed that
advertisments are stuck on top of every page I go on. Be it the Art Gallery, or
the Userpages, it shows, and it's really distracting, and ugly..
Now my question is, was this done purposely, or was it an accident done when the
Administrator changed something?
Meh.. I know it's not a bug, but this is the only place to ask about things
you're unsure about.. and my main concern is if it was intentionally done, why
the top of the page?
there must be some other place to put it than on the top of the page? It looks
ugly and they also comes in the way of our userpages seeing as thats where we
put our images. On the TOP of the page.
I'd rather pay some buckies via paypal than have this annoying add on top of the
page!
Can't there be an option that if you pay something, it will go away?
Btw,there is an add on the right of the page, why do we need to have one at the
top as well?
For now I just have to block that advertisment, I'd rather have a little black
box up there than some blinking yellow add that shows.
I agree that ads are good cause it makes MT free however i think the top of the
page is quite disgusting. When people have put such effort into the userskins
and the first thing that you see when a page loads is a flashing ad it really
isn't very nice.
Ads are icky anywhere on the page but i think it would be much nicer if the top
of the page could remain clean

Indeed, and I'm not saying that I don't understand that they need money for the
move, however, I feel that the top advertisement is unneeded, as said by

Fact is, there are also Google ads on the left. Not to mention that the top ad
is just the exact same as the one on the right.

I have one question about this.. as with what Sumomo- has said, it isn't needed
directly at the top of the page. I seem to think you're avoiding the bottom of
the page, for some reason.. why not place them with the text, down there? not
only would it look clean, it wouldn't make the place look like something it
isn't.

Hey, I don't think anyone said that MiniTokyo.net WAS DevArt.. merely a question
of if a member donated to the site, the ad goes away, or the member gains the
option to 'hide' the ad.

it is not a bug, obviously, it is deliberate, i am having that.
just means MT needs money...

oh and currently MT needs cash for the server move, so more ads = more cash
