I do understand what ya talkin' bout! I do feel like fantasizing when i read
manga.. But, is the anime so bad?
I usually like to start manga's first before I watch the anime. Most of the time
the manga has more details about the characters and plotline and can sometimes
vary on things happening in the anime. Anime is fun to watch though, hearing
voices and actually seeing the action going on, however, if you're asking which
to do first, I think you should read the manga before watching the anime. Then
you can compare the two and pick out what you liked and didn't like in each =P
yup i sure agree with iluzia.. manga got some scenes that are and will not be
shown on the anime series.. juz noe that bleach is a very nice series.. the
action is just addictive.. woooooooo!

Yes I have to agree Bleach is something you should keep both. Which not very
hard these days.
and no to forget that the manga is ahead of the anime so after reading the manga
seeing the action sequence in anime makes it worthwhile.
But all in all in either format Bleach is something you need to watch or
read.

making it less than the manga. But the Anime is really COOL the battle make it
all worth seeing. The manga has the story line, so in my opinion. You should
read the manga and the watch the anime, make sure that you always read a few

are not a major japanese freak start with anime. Oh course Manga is the best
becasue it gives you lots of info and such but, becasue of that you should start
with Anime... don't get yourself into something that ur not ready for.

recommend reading the manga first; it's the very original, and usually has a LOT
better graphics than the anime (cause I don't think it's the same artist
drawing).

After I bought volume 1 of the manga I started watching the anime - I think this is one series where I'll keep up with both the manga and the anime.

It really depends on whether or not you like to watch and imagine (anime) or read and imagine (manga).
Preferably i'd follow the anime, because u could see the action & humour in motion, plus the music & sounds makes u feel ur in the story.
Im into the manga as well, because the anime sometimes have fillers, so i follow the manga to get to know the 'real' story thats going on for Bleach.

I would say jsut go for the manga
i actually dislked the sketchy art in the manga. that's why i gave up and just watched the anime.
