I'm doing poetry in my english class right now and it is so boring. whats the whole point of poetry anyways. i keep on hearing ppl say that poetry is important because your significant others like and i was there sitting in my seat...that is so not true. and i also hear ppl say that girls like poetry which is not true for all girls. so what are ur thoughts on poetry. (and i'm not talking about lyrical poetry as in songs)

i love poetry. but for more than just because i am a girl. i love it because it is easy to get out the frustrations of the world. or to share your feelings what ever they maybe.

everyones presception of poetry is different.
