I think that example highlights what I'm talking about, a few of the emoticon
codes on MT conflit with commonly used acronyms. Sure it is a minor problem for
things like "X D" and such, but 'X P' is such a common one that I
think it should be either removed or changed to ":P" or something.
I'd just add that "X D' and "O X" are likely to be problems too,
as they are bound to be an acronym for something, actually a couple of things
come to mind for X D, like the brand of memory card and that new Pokemon game
are just a couple of examples.
I think that there shouldn't be any purely letters emoticons.
Windows XP

XP ...yep!
I'm gonna move this to the bug/suggestion forum. But yeah, that's a good observation- maybe :XP would work better. Any others?
Why not surround emocations with brackets or colons like many other forums? [xp] or :Xp:
[Edit] well it seems that :X (lower case x) is also an emocation. This makes it very hard to type technical stuff.
