hello everybody.
i found this anime and i like it very much. it's so special but the idea is very
full of originality!
story:
They are neither plants nor animals. They differ from other forms of life such
as the micro-organisms and the fungi. Instead they resemble the primeval body of
life and are generally known as "Mushi". Their existence and
appearance are unknown to many and only a limited number of humans are aware of
them. Ginko is a "Mushi-shi" who travels around to investigate and
find out more about the "Mushi". In the process, he also lends a
helping hand to people who face problems with supernatural occurances which may
be related to the "Mushi".
I really like Mushishi! I'm glad somebody
else does too, a lot of somebody else's. For
some odd reason, Mushishi reminds me of Kino's Travels, which is another really
good show. Probably because of the traveling and searching within humanity for
all the sides we don't usually attend to. I like it when shows delve into the
meanings of life that are so common place.
I've been looking for wallpapers, too, and there really aren't that many out
there. (Pst all you artists - go forth and create!)
Just finding source material of appropriate size is hard. Hopefully I'll have
something soon. I just ordered the soundtrack that comes out tomorrow so I'm hoping that it has some nice
images to work with.
Did anyone else realize that the endings of each episode have their own unique
music score? So sweet! It's
the first show where I look forward to the ending credits just as much as the
show itself!
All of you who know not of what I speak...go forth...find Mushishi, and watch
