I'm sure some people have encountered these things....
What I'm about to say might anger some people, but I want to see their opinion,
so please forgive me. I'm currently in senior high in the western world and I'm
really seeing a lot of things. One of the things I really want to mention in
this thread is, of course, love in the teens. I'm curious to know what the
difference is between true love and 'puppy love'. I have a few friends that I
think are going through puppy love, but yet my opinions are being opposed. I'm
inexperienced with all this...I dunno whether I should be ashamed or not I usually
base the relationship between adults who are married with the ones I see in
school. What I found is that the 'couples' in school are so....on the surface?
Perhaps not, but I often ask this question, 'If you were to throw away your life
to save your love, would you do it?' Obviously, the answer was 'yes'. This
raises another question, do they have the experience to say 'yes'? Do they have
the knowledge, wisdom, experience to support each other through life? There are
obviously exceptions to these issues, but that's a real small percentage. So
yea....opinions please!
There are people who fall in love once and get married; others get married
multiple times and die miserable. So this reminds me of X-Men; "Are mutants
dangerous?" It depends entirely on the person, how much they enjoy what,
how greedy they are, and how much they love each other. Sometimes puppy love is
exactly the same as true love, sometimes it's not. All we can do is wait to find
out.
Hmm, in my opinion, the early stages of your relationship tend to be puppy love
like. Only if you're young, usually when we're older we have more experience. We
all do silly things in puppy love, and tends not to last very long. True love is
something I guess you can call marriage, it's not as glamourous as some might
think. Basically it's someone you can spend your whole life with and really care
about them. I don't believe in most crap you read in fiction, that's just the
early stages of your relationship, when you're all lovey dovey. I mean, look at
your parents, don't see them acting like teens in "love".

*pulls out a nose hair*
I think we either learn early, late, or never on true love... puppy or what not is a level classification of a class of people that are new to it.
*lost myself again*
