Tenchi Muyo! is the series taht first got me into anime and i think it is one of
the best out there. it is one of those hard to find anime though, at least for
me, but try that. some other good ones are "Ghost in the Shell",
"Maburaho" and in my opinion "Vision of Escaflowne" hope you
find a good one demon. bye
I think it depends on what type of anime you're interested in. If you like
sword-fighting action, I would suggest Rurouni Kenshin or Bleach. If you like
more romantic/drama, I would suggest Fushigi Yugi, Kodocha, or Peach Girl. Or if
you're into more mecha stuff, Vision of Escaflowne (like crywolf9 suggested),
Gundam Seed, or 8th MS Team. I don't know if that helps any, but these are the
ones I would suggest.

I am looking for anime with a good plot or unique storyline like Haibane Renmei or Spirited Away.
I think "Full Metal Alchemist" is the best. Their are many others though. Ghost In The Shell, Inuyasha, Cowboy bebop, Samurai Champloo,etc.
