Once I liked this guy and i was thinking how to tell him that he was special for me and then he comes and ask me: who do you like? and i dont know why but i said: you! then i started thinking: did i really said that? Damn!
it was stupid, but it worked! he liked me.
Sometimes being diredt is the best way! but if a man confess to me, it would be nice if he looks me in the eye and didnt smile, that way I would notice that he's not lying, making fun of me or something... hope i helped you!

Wow, I'm not as bold as Kabura... The only time I asked a guy out was when I had done my research and found out he liked me too!

My advice? Be yourself. If it's not in your character to plan some big huge thing, then don't. For me, I would want a guy to confess to me in a way that seemed natural for him. I wouldn't want it to sound too rehearsed or out of character with what I thought he was like. My other advice? Do it in person. It's cheesy if you do it over the phone or on the computer. I tend to agree with Firefly... The 'luciole' seems right: be yourself. If you pretend to be someone else, if you force yourself into doing things that don't fit with your personality it will certainly show. Moreover, it would be like you're telling her a lie. Forcing yourself, making the other believe you are what you are not.

If things are to go one way or another, then make sure you wear your own shoes.

Moreover, I agree too with the idea that you should avoid phones and the like. Phones cut the lower and higher frequencies. Trouble is that there are many unspoken things that happen there. Im.g.ne th.t s.me lett.rs g. miss.ng in w.rds... The whole idea can pass though, but not the finer ideas, the finer notions. And I guess that if you want to confess, you may want the other one to hear about what lies in the bottom of your heart, the more subtle of feelings, the slightests curves of your mind and heart... This is quite a good thread. I'd like to take the girl I like to lots of places, enjoy our day, and then, when the night comes, I'd take her to a park with cherry trees and swear eternal love to her... But its not such a good idea because we could get robbed there

I also agree with all of you guys: face to face, being yourself. If you're not a Casanova then dont act like one, things just get worse. And if that girl doesnt like you in the end, then she doesnt deserve you ^_^

Ah, story of my life... Well, kinda. For some background info, out of my 4 closest friends (including my best friend) I have some kind of history with 3 of them. I would first bring up the idea casually, but use it in a hypothetical sense, such as "Do you think that friends dating other friends ruins friendships?" try and get her stance on things first. For me, I did lots of covert work, asking other friends to find out information for me, etc. However, in the end it's really a matter of if you are willing to risk possibly damaging the friendship for the prospect of getting something even better. That's what I did and in one case it worked and in the other it didn't work out exactly as I'd planned. But you'll never know unless you try, so I wish you the best of luck!

I'm a girl, and I actually confessed before... Except in class and I was sitting next to him... (I was stupid then and now ) Well anyways, there was this other guy that actually confessed to me, and he did it by writing a note... and passing it... But I would say I would confess going to somewhere romantic, such as maybe a movie, or if thats not possible, just go to a fair or fireworks or something... Or maybe ask that person to your prom... I don't really know myself, I don't really attract anyone, only that one boy that currently hates me
