Anybody know a good samurai anime, where the character dress in "full" samurai armor...none of this kimono style hippies--*cough, cough*Samuari Champloo. Or if there any scans here too?

You could try Samurai 7. It has charcters dress in full samurai clothing. Its great to watch, i enjoyed it very much.

That's a tough one. Of all the Samurai anime I've seen I can't really remember one where the characters dress in armor.

indeed, full armor is pretty rare in anime, mainly because most main chars tend to desire manueverability over protection, i mean, they dodge swords matriz style:D

Then you should be looking for a war-anime, such, as has been mentioned, Samurai 7. Thats the closest I can think of. Although, not ideal. Still pretty armourless. The armourless samurai, AS IN Samurai Champloo (I liked that you ... HIPPIE) are all either ronin (wandering / masterless samurai) or peace-time keepers of the peace.

In Darkstalkers there is one huge samurai dude. The armour is alive and takes people over by possesing them. Also in Vampire Princess Miyu there was also one scene where a possesed suit of armour came to life. Think it was the OVA, but really not sure.

Interesting, there is hardly any "proper" samurai animes...

Then you should be looking at the Last Samurai with Tom Cruise.

Samurai7 is a mecha-samurai anime set in a post-apocalyptic world, but give it a shot. It's really worth it, believe me.
