competes with the main character in everything. yeah, that would be cooler and
I'd have less problems and more fun than the main characters.
Definitely sidekick. Its way more fun being the comic relief. You are pretty
unrestricted as far as how much trouble you can get your main character into.

want to be at the front with a Gundam of my own) but I don't like the spotlight
very much. Let others take the credit and glory, I'll just linger in the shadows
of people's awarness and help out where I can from a support-role
hmmm... that is an interesting question. it really depends on the content of the
story for me... for example, if there are a few head characters and one
main-MAIN character, then i wouldn't mind being any of them... but if there is a
mysterious/cool character (who is not the main character), then I would
definitely choose the "sidekick"
I agree with Rinslet. Often the main character is the pillar of the franchise
and the creators don't take too many risks with him, whereas the sidekicks are
like little testing grounds.
