Yes, they're still having a lawsuit. But it's really unprobable that they lose,
'cause there are no fundamental proves to win that case...
I think DVC is an awesome story, and it would be perfect in a movie... The only
think that I didn't like was Tom Hanks in the role of Robert Langdon... I really
hate Tom Hanks!. But the rest of the cast it's really awesome.
the problem with angels and demons is that, as the same book pintpoint, the main
theme about the church is not popular enough anymore. Instead the theme about a
Jesus heritage is growing popularity with special TV shows and books aferter
books speaking of it.
I'm usually quite skeptical about books being turned into movies. I'd say 80% of
the time they suck or aren't even half as good as the book (like the Harry
Potter films and Sahara). Of course there are a few obvious exceptions like the
LOTR trilogy and a lot of movies based on Stephen King books, but they are the
exceptions that prove the rule ^_^.
Anyways, I'm interested to see whether this film turns out as good as the book
or whether it's a Hollywood parasite-movie mooching off the popularity of the
book like the Harry Potter movies (that's right! I hate the Harry Potter
movies!). I really liked the book and would love to see it turned into a great
film.
I think i will be great... If it wouldn't, the fans never forgive the people who
worked in it... So, if they want to preserv their spines and skulls, the movie
MUST be great.
I've not read the book, but I'm interested in to see the movie, not because I
believe what the book say, just because I want to see it, of course my ideas
will not change, specially because V for Vendetta did that.
I'm currently reading the book, and so far it's really good.
I can''t wait till the movie comes out, it'll be nice to actually see teh
characters come to life.
i havent ever read the book yet but i heard that its really good. so im going to
read th ebook before the i watch the movie. cant wait till i get the book =]
Well I'm looking forward to watching it with friends. I know that it goes
against what a lot of people believe, but I just hope people watch it with an
open mind and that it is purely entertainment.

exactly what im thinking. i havent read the book though i've been wanting to,
but seeing how long it is, im guessing that they might cut out some parts like
movies have done with the harry potter films, since the books are quite long as
well. but still i havent seen the movie or read the book so i cant give a real
opinion on whether its good or not, but i do want to watch it. and reading the
above posts that it has controversy, thats more of a reason to go see it out of
curiousity as to WHY its causing arguments too. im looking forward to the movie
and hopefully people will understand that its a book solely for the purpose of
entertainment and the movie should recieve the same attitude.
ive read the book and i loved it! i have yet to see this movie... and i dont
really oppose to the ideas in the book (by the way im a Christian) i just
thought of it as entertainment thats all though it does sort of question ur
beliefs...
anyone who 'loved' the book should read the part titled 'facts' and check all of
these. many are very inaccurate. the priory of sion for example, was founded in
1956 in paris as opposed to 1099 in jerusalem. from another angle, alot of
people (including me) believe that the dossiers secretes were planted in th
bibliotheque nationale in paris by convicted crook and forger named pierre
plantard who in 1993 confessed under oath to fabricating the whole story of the
priory of sion. there is a bbc documentary and several french books exposing
this hoax. also, the knights templar could not possibly be a creation of the
priory as claimed in the book because they existed centuries before 1965. in the
fact section brown also claims that all descriptions of artwork, architecture,
and secret rituals are completely accurate. he claims that former french
president francois mitterand had the glass pyramid in the courtyard of the
louvre made of 666 panes of glass. a few people actually took the time to count
the glass panes and the number is actually 673. the pivotal window in the louvre
bathroom (according to blueprints and accounts) does not actually exist. the
painting "madonna of the rocks" which he says is painted on canvas and
about 5ft tall is actually painted on a slab of wood and just over 6ft tall.
does he not also say the olympics were established in greece as a tribute to
venus because of how highly women were esteemed back then is kind of ....ok WTF
anyone who has casually read greek mythology knows that the olympics were
created as a tribute to zeus and that women were not even allowed to watch on
penalty of being tossed off mount vesuvius of summat.
a good read; yes but alot of the book is just a crock of sh!t if you ask me or
look at the real facts.
You know ...
ok...this is a kinda old thread,i dont care...
The book was good-----> not fact-wise,for me.
it's entertainment!
The movie...was...less-better than the book...
What do you think about The Da Vinci's Code movie? Will many like it or oppose its ideals?
I havent watched the movie but i dun like the Da Vinci's Code.
Are they still releasing it? Weren't they having some lawsuit about it? It was an interesting book though
I have read The Vinci's Code . I think it was an interesting book and everyone are still talk about that

I duuno. I'm gonna see it anyway.
Honestly, the book was pretty decent but IMO, they should have done the movies on Angels and Demons instead.

Absolutelly right.
I read the book and found the content interesting, but a fact book on the subject could have captured my interest just as much.
Still part of the movie was filmed in my town so I have to see it haha
