Quote: Besides, in the words of
the great Mr. Burns "Mother Nature started this fight, now she's just
whining because she's losing." Truer words have never been spoken.
Quote: Yeah right. Mother nature
doesn't whine that just all the environmentalists. Ma Nature whips out the
proverbial can of whoopass being earthquakes, hurricanes/typhoons, tornados,
floods, massive forest fires, etc.... As far as I know not one single thing
constructed by man has been able to withstand nature for any geologic period of
time.
You two seem to be forgetting that this is not a war; its about survival! we
depend on nature, and if we wipe it out, we'll suffer! its not about mother
nature destroying us (she can kill some of us but not all), or about us
destroying it, it's about living in harmony!
is it even a question? with all that's happen in the world it is apparent were
in big trouble. i hope there is something that can do to change our fate.

Living in harmony with nature? Those are the true words of a tree hugging
hippie! Just kidding. It's really just a play on words is all I was using that
comment for. I think pretty much anybody with a decent head on their shoulders
would agree that we need to be as careful as possible in terms of protecting
precious resources and nature as a whole. I simply tend to believe that we
overblow things at this point. Man has made huge strides in technology and
knowledge, I think that while we create a lot of problems, we also learn to
remedy them rather quickly. Artificial environments, artificial intelligence and
anything immaginable at this point is well within our reach. Humans are powerful
beings and we have the capability to be creators or destroyers. I'm simply
saying our dependance on Mother Nature as a whole becomes less and less each day
as we progress as a species. You may resume your tree hugging. I love you all!
Yes, we are probably the whole cause of this, because there are ton of people
that are so irreresponsible on making up their own garbage which can cause
pollution. It's not always about us, because of the dangerous weathers happening
around the world. If you are a believer of God (or Christian), the world is
going to end by The Day of Judgment where the world ends. Whoever is saved will
go to Heaven, whoever has in and is not saved, will all perish in Hell. That's
why it's call The Day of Judgment, because that's the day where God will end all
life and judge whoever goes where. There has been many disasters happening
around us, so it's possible that the day will happen soon...
I do believe that if we humanity dont change things, we are going to be the
cause of our own destruction and the world! It is a serious matter, and few ppl
who understand it, is not inuff...we need for most of human kind, to understand
and do something about whats happening! Take conciousness and matter in our
hands....and a little amount of miracles wont harm either! lol
heh yal have somepoint to what could be but its all just possibilities, it is
possible that at somepoint their will be destruction to the world or to humanity
but out of it we will bounce back and build a new world maybe a even better
place.
"every ending has a new beginning"
why is all we facinate on is just a endings? there is more to life then how
things do or will end.
Being influenced quite a lot by Marx's theory on the evolution of society (which
struggles constantly until it reaches a higher, definitive state of equity), I'm
quite optimistic about the future of mankind. Someday we will find the perfect
social structure, the perfect way to make us all equal and to have no need for
individuality. We will have solved all of our problems, and everything will be
static, and life will be perfect. But, until then, I can't assure the path won't
be rough. But I'm sure that, eventually and unfailingly, we will survive for
best.
Quote by HaoI wanted
to know what do u think about this, because this is really important; nowadays
we are seeing more and more natural disasters caused by the alteration of the
climate and the contamination, and people everyone is becoming more and more
corrupt and water is begining to lack... This is all our fault, so the question
is:
Will we be responsible for our own destruction?
That is why we have to take out Saddam, god knows what he will do
next
but wat if his son will be taking over!
commiting suicide was bad enough

If you read the changes in nature then you can choose the path to walk.
But humans cannot do that, it is inevitable for them to walk the path to
destruction.
Being optimistic does not change the fact that it is human tendencies to destroy
themselves and apparently not learn from history the outcome of war and
destruction.
By the time a perfect social structure can be achieve it might already be to
late to change the damage already cause by humans. However, I will not deny that
humans have the tendency to survive even in the worst situation.
Only those who have achieved a higher level of consciousness can make this world
be prosperous and ideal.
Well that a tough question to ask i think that we as human could do thing's to
change are ways. 1st get bush out of office that's one way to help. try to
protect the environment and stop expanding into places that thrive without
interference. figure out a way to solve are human problem like disiease, hungre,
theni think humanity would be on the right track don't me get wrong terrorist
must be stopped but fighting enemies we can't make us negliate other problems in
the world.
Every action a man takes, has a reaction. Be it the trigger of a war, the
creation of a drug or so, it will have its consequences. It can't be forsaw
wether life on earth will end by our hand or by god's hand, but surely we are
making it all happen more fast.
ok i have several points of views on this (most not mine)
the catholic church believes that the day jesus/God (remember jesus is God) will
come down upon us and judge who goes to heaven or hell. when that will happen?
well jesus said, "I will return soon." its a little obvious his
definition of soon is late.
the romans and hebrew believed in numbers. our demise to them was ourselves
through numbers. i believe the numerical order is DCLXVI or in our terms
"500-100-50-10-5-1"
what i believe...well we wont kill ourselves. i just dont see it. nature i think
is more capable of doing that only to keep her peace and balance.
all i know is that the sun isnt gonna explode, middle-easterners (or whatever
you guys call them) arent gonna blow us up, and a human extermination by aliens
isnt a bad idea either.
I think the answer is obvious. Humans has the most ego when it come to being
superior, but thanks to that cockiness it's leading to destruction.
I'm sorry to say this, but I'm ashamed of humans for not taking what they
learned in history seriously. The next weapon that we will make could properly
destory half of the world, but NNNOOOO The people are still thinking they're so
great that humans can't loose.
RIGHT NOW Humans are destorying the Earth which will get US destoryed. but NO
ONE IS LISTENING. I do want to look after the destruction and tell people,
"I told ya so." But then the thing is that I could die, too.
why do people even have to ask this universal question? Unless mankind develops
something that can save us all from eternal damnation, then we're pretty much
screwed by nature.
besides, if we die, better for earth. We've ruined it pretty much now, so it's
about damn time we die
The earth is trying to "equalize" itself. Talking about this won't
help, besides, i heard that within 50 years, there will be a shortage of
resources and less than 100 years, we will have a nice little ice age. This is
nature trying to restore itself
Me i think that all die someday and this is what is hapening now fur us ....
seem dark but it think that the truth is no nessesarely happy ... (sorry for my
english im not verry good )

Global warming-humans(mostly). War-humans. Corruption-humans. Stupidity-humans. Ignorance-humans. Hate-humans. Ir's only a matter of time.

yeah preaty sure we are killing our selves for nothing...
should that time come, i will really live my last 5 min...

Even if I was an optimist I'd still say yes
Humans, humans..., humans, to think that humans are the cause of the destruction of mother nature, is just too sad.
yes. we all know the reasons......
The asnwer is simple...YES.
Every action a man takes, has a reaction. Be it the trigger of a war, the creation of a drug or so, it will have its consequences. It can't be forsaw wether life on earth will end by our hand or by god's hand, but surely we are making it all happen more fast.
