The music is in everything we do. That's the reason beacuse we associate
specific songs to our memories, creating an emotional environment where our
inner self is able to develope completely free...
If you can choose 5 songs that have marked your life... which would they be?
Why?
Well, I'll start.
1.- "Fallen", Sarah McLachlan: The first time that i heard it I was
moving out from my home for the first time.
2.- "Ningyo Hime", Rie Tanaka: I haven't seen Chobits (at that
moment), but when I realized that the person who I expected to grow old with
told me that I wasn't the guy of his life anymore, the first song that I heard
was this one...
3.- "Don't Stop Me Now", Queen: When I am down, this song is capable
to make standing on my feet again.
4.- "I Want Love", Mary Elizabeth McGlynn: This song is terrific! I
was playing Silent Hill 3, and I was dazzled wih the voice of Mary Elizabeth...
ahhh! It reminds me that I always have to respect myself.
5.- "El Uno, El Dos, El Tres", Mecano (The One, The Two, The Three):
This is a ravaging song... I have two bestest friends, we know each other since
we had 7 years old (now we have 25), and there are times when we know we have to
get apart. So, when this moment comes, we take our hands together and sing out
loud...
1. "Monkey Wrench"- Foo
Fighters My 3 best friends and I used to be in a band together before we
all went to University. We used to play this song a lot because it's fast-paced
and REALLY fun to play ^^. It reminds me of the great times I had with
them.
2. "Higher"-Creed hehehe my
band used to play this song as a warm-up. Another extremely fun song to play
because it's so cheesy. We'd do ultra-cheesy poses while we played this song
.
Another reminder of the great times I had in Dubai.
3. "Wake Up"- Rage Against the
Machine my first ever favourite song. This song truly opened my ears and
mind to the kickass world of Rock n Roll and the genius that is RATM.
4. "Change the World"-Eric
Clapton A beautifal ballad about devotion. I'd like to think that I'd try
to "change the world" for the ones I love too.
5. "Bigger than HipHop" - Dead Prez
One of my fav rap tunes. I always request this song when I go clubbing.
I had a good friend back in highschool who was a big fan of hiphop and rap, but
hated rock. By the end of highschool I had managed to get him to like rock and
he got me to like rap ^^.
Glad to see this tread. I love music !
