Yup, took me long enough to finally post up a wall, but finally did, but I was
dissappointed to see that it ended up Quarantained. So was wondering on if
anyone would be willing to give suggestions on how I might be able to improve on
this as it's my very first time creating Wallpapers?
Without looking at the image I can tell you that the filename
"vlcsnap-3591750.jpg" seems to indicate that you just took a
screenshot of some anime and maybe modified it a bit... this generally gets your
wall quarantined. Please upload it somewhere so we can check it out.
I know its a bit blurry, but that couldn't be helped as it only did that when I
upped the res from 853/480 to it's current res due to the size requirements to
post it on here :/
so any suggestions on how I might be able to improve on this and deal with the
blurriness would be greatly appreciated as still new to creating own wallies
^^;;
Firstly, don't ever try to enlarge a picture. The quality just goes really bad,
and this would be deleted straight away because of certain requirements- one is
to not enlarge a picture. If you choose to enlarge a picture though, you must
still maintain thequality by vectoring the image or something like
that.
Another thing I wanted to say was that apart from enlarging the picture I can't
really tell what you have done to the original image You
really have to either extract the image (cut the image out and then) give it a
background, or get some brushes and brush over the original scan.
PS: In the requirements, screenshots are not allowed, unless you well, vector
them
I would highly recommend getting some sort of knowledge on vectoring (I think if
you search the forum or google for vectoring tutorials, you should find a fair
few). Otherwise, yeah- you will need to create a background for it. The easiest
that comes to mind is getting some cloud or mist brushes and making the Gundam
(?) emerge from debris.
I think you have a good idea on what you want, but as a hint of advice, keep
working the creative brain, and use your imagination to create a wallpaper not
originally there in the picture (if that makes any sense) - imagine it in its
glory, or its revival, and wall it in the wallpaper, rather than just take it
from the original anime.
Luck on the wall, and hope you keep updating it here on this thread

Sorry to tell you this, but you cant show an image unless you store it in a server like http://imageshack.us . Sorry! I would love to see it!

ok, thanks for telling me that, but that's odd because the original size of it wouldn't let me submit into the site because it was to low res :/
And thanks for the suggestion
I'll go
and look into that suggestion
