Well, I've just gotten finished with the first 20 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and unfortunately, I had to leave my cousin's house, who had the DVD's and i couldnt finish the series. It was soo good, i went into like, withdrawl because I couldnt watch it and find out what happened. i didnt feel like eating, sleeping, drinking, playing halo2 or any other game for that matter. The mood and emotional change from episodes 10 through 20 hooked me and really moved me or affected me in some way. If anyone has ever had an experience like this, with any anime, I would be glad to hear you share it in detail (if u cant, it wasnt emotional enough :) ), and kind of reassure me that im normal and this does happen! XD

Wow...you went into withdrawal because you couldn't finish an anime series...That must be one powerful series! God, i don't think I've ever been like that. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but...I hope the day that you'll finish Neon Genesis Evangelion comes soon.

Neon Gensis Evangelion was a good series... one of the best ones out there but if you want to see a dramatic and emotional anime you should go watch Kimi ga Nozomu Eien... i think thats how you spell it

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is good but a little sad ending right? just as "Air" anime...... after i had watched this anime, i couldn't sleep....aw..... and couldn't watch any anime else... cuz i was always thinking 'bout this anime........>_< i wish this anime will a little lengthen........so that i can watch all days ......... by the way.......it's ended with an unhappy ending but so logical ^__^

Well, that's why I bought the series, I was pulled in by only two episodes of it.

I haven't seen Neon Genesis, dont laugh, the only anime i probly ever finished was Gundam Seed. At the end gets really emotional. Its my favorite anime too.

Thats kinda funny, if i were to comment Gundam SEED would be my statement as i wathced it not long ago, the thing is i watched all 50 episodes within 2 days. It was interesting because i think my body and my mind were battling over what i should be doing, my mind was saying keep watching episodes while my body was saying it was going to die on me if i didn't sleep. I found it very involving so when it finished and i realised i couldn't go onto watching SEED destiny i did kind of have withdrawals. I substituted this by finding and listening to the soundtracks and gentley got over it over a week X-P

Probably Tokyo Babylon and X... well, the manga anyway. I've only seen part of the X movie before I was dragged away. =P But I did read all of TB and what's been written of the X manga (hurry up and finish it, CLAMP!)

Yup, made me cry so much. =/

On a side note, it's really hilarious, this kid is playing a Hyde song that I introduced him to. lol.

When I watched X,and had to stop in half of it,then I couldn't sleep, becouse I wanted to know what happend next..

Air, Berserk, and Neon Gensis Evangelion are sooo emotional. Makes you want to cry!

Wolf's Rain, Strawberry Panic (yes theres a lot more to it than just some yuri) same goes for Kannazuki no Miko.

Evangelion... ah, yes... I first (and last) watched it a decade ago, and couldn't remember anymore the last 5 episodes... they're such an influence to me... and I couldn't remember those last five episodes...

(Don't worry, ElvishImmortal. Yours happens everytime.)

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Kanon 2006, Air
