The best games of all time are most likely old games. At times i've unpluged my
Xbox so that I can plug in my n64 and enjoy some of my old favorites. One thing
that I like about the oldies is that they don't reference so much to pop culture
as the new ones.such as the "cool factor",like playing as a well-known
rapper who shoots other guys in the ghetto and for some reason ,there has never
been a better time as now to reminisce about world war 2.It's all really too
gloomy for me.The old games may not be as developed as newer ones but at least
they have more challenge,a subject on gaming which I think is declining rapidly
with newer games.
So what old games do you like?
I very frequently plug in my NES, in which my favorite games are Zelda, Mario
1-3, and Tetris. I sometimes plug in my SNES, and I like to play Mario and Yoshi
more than other games on it. I never get tired of playing Zelda!
I think part of liking older games is because it reminds you of your childhood
days, as those were the first few games you've ever played. But a big part of it
is the fact that they are simply better.
Hm.. I'm somewhat reluctant to do this because there's really very little
discussion going on there, but there IS an existing thread on this topic: Fav old game?
So closing.
