yeah mine was fatal frame 2 but the original scary games was the resident evil
series. there's nothing like opening a door and your heart beating faster than a
machine gun just 2 find out nothing's in the room.......or so u think.
Resident Evil really scares ghost out of hell....
Then is Silent Hill...i really must admit i nearly gave up...
Hey, I liked Parasite Eve! It isn't scary...just a bit of disgusting with the
huge amount of slime and blood everywhere.
ok, you all say F.E.A.R. was scary, didnt scare me that much. You all say Silent
Hill is scary, that didnt scare me that much. You all say Parasite Eve is scary,
now that wasnt scary at all. The REAL game that scares the crap outta me (and
still does today) is Knockout on the NES (im not joking about that either). The
story behind it is one day when i was really young i decided to play, well, i
tried beating the first guy and lost. Well, if you've played the game, you know
what happens when you lose, screen gets all dark, your guy is laying down
looking like he's dead and everybody in the crowd starts cheering and taking
pictures and the guy that just beat u starts dancing. Well, when i saw this, I
thought "OMFG, these people are cheering at my death!" (ya, thats what
i thought when i was younger). Never been more scared in my life.
I have to say that Silent Hill is the most cariest game I played. I mean, there
are creepy zombies in the schoolhouse and the graphic they use are always so
foggy and everything is so dark. The monster come up all off a sudden and it
scares the wits out of me! LOL. And that's
not all, there's this scary music in the beginning and everything is all silent
in the game. I heard that there's a movie in theaters in April 21st here in my
place! I would like to try out Siren some time. It sounds similar to
Silent Hill, but I'm ready to try something new! Hahaha. ^_^
lol the one that did it for me was silent hill i was constantly yellin n
screamin thru it all hehehe
throwing controller at the monitor...yea silent hill + me = random yellin n
screamin..... i was all like ahhhh! damn creepy zombies..creepd me out, as it
shuld...but wut got me also was the scary ass music..lol seriously..i think i
may go see the movie tomorrow...hehe, hopefully it wont b as scary..i hope

You should but one caveat though: unlike Silent Hill, the zombies in Siren
(called "shibito") can't really die. So don't treat it like Silent
Hill or Resident Evil.
I have played several horror games; Resident
Evil (2,Nemesis, veronica), Silent Hill 2,3,4, Fatal Frame 1,2,3, Clock tower
2,3 and Siren
And i got to say, Clock Tower is the scariest, expecially the 2nd Series. Its
about a japanese girl who returned home only to find her auntie uncle gone,
possibly killed cos there are human parts in the house. Unlike all horror games,
the only weapon in Clock tower is to run and hide while the ghost/ spirit is
chasing you. Of course, in the end, you have a special weapon to fight the
ghost.
Silent hill is scary cos of the lightings in the game..its soo dark and u have
this static sound that will grow loud if there's a monster near you. Resident
evil is not scary, its suspense.
Ah! Fatal Frame 3, when i FIRST played it, it scared the hell outta me but its
not that scary when i played it again. Clock
Tower 2 is already etched in my brain and i cant seem to ignore the
horror!
DOOM 3, nothing's scarier than that. Nothing brings a human to hell and make him
feel that he'll never return. Nothing makes you so shocked and wordless other
than this game. Curse the developers, this is helluva good game but I swear I'll
never touch it again.
I don't play too many scary games, but I do play Fatal Frame!... all three of
them are pretty scary... I think on the scare factor, for me, it goes 2 is the
scarest, then 1 then 3... yup... those games are awsome...
Silent Hill and fatal frame pretty much spooked me up a bit. Especially if its
dark and your playing by yourself. And then your mind starts to wonder and think
this and that. Thats when its starts to get crazy.
Doom 3, I'd have to say without a doubt. It was more than just pop up in your
face, it was the atmosphere the game created, the laughter and the breathing and
the whispering voices in dark hallways, visions and visuals like lighting and
textures and the blood. Silent Hill is pretty scary, Resident Evil I didn't
really find scary but F.E.A.R. was decent in fear. But really, I think Doom 3
pulled it off best, it didn't need enemies startling you, even without the bad
guys those boards were pretty freaking scary just to walk through.
For me... the only one is F.E.A.R. On PC.
And Fatal Frame on PS2.
What about yours?
*Sorry if there is already an existing topic on this.

Ah! I remember Parasite Eve, but I was very young, well, in any case, that game left scars in my beloved brain
I don't play many games that are scary. When I was young, the scariest game I played was an FPS called Blood. That gave me the creeps.
Fatal Frame 2. It was even scarier than FF3.
Then Silent Hill series and Siren. Siren 2 is already out in Japan. Can't wait for the English version.
F.E.A.R. on max settings = Me freaked out >__>
Resident Evil really scares ghost out of hell....

I remember that Sanitarium and Silent Hill freaked me out.

the scariest is silent hill, of course. I haven't played sanitarium what is it about?
I'm a wuss, so I didn't play this, but silent hill is scary as hell... my sister, who is not a gamer, played it

Bahaha. I remember I used to be afraid of playing Duke nukem.
hat phobia
still follows me although it ain't scarey at all.
hmmm for me it would have to be Syestem Shock 2 then probably DOOM 3 both very fun very scary games.

Hmmm I'd go with Resident Evil and Silent Hill series. Parasite Eve was a good one too.
Silent Hill and fatal frame pretty much spooked me up a bit. Especially if its dark and your playing by yourself. And then your mind starts to wonder and think this and that. Thats when its starts to get crazy.
F.E.A.R was more of terror scary...like psychologically scared...
Doom 3 was more of a pop up in your face and say "Boo!" kind of scary...
