Here is the link to Elder Scrolls 4:
Oblivion.
for me it's one of the best rpg in the last years. the depth of game play is
amazing. what's your opinion ?
i've had 2 savegames of over 40+ hours.
both are gone because of harddrive problems so i wont be touching the game for a
while anymore.
i had a dark elf battlemage and a wood elf custom class ( thief like class with
ranged as main damage output )
they were SUPER strong since i had +5 attribute modifiers on each level i got
heh...
anyhow the game is really cool i must say especially if you play it for the
first time. the world is really bid and if you walk trough it on foot you'll be
satisfied for a couple of hours or even days.
It looks great and has great features, but it has a limited audience. Not
everybody wants to run around killing rats for 15 hours until they're strong
enough to kill low tier bandits and slightly larger rats.
I don't really like it that much. I uninstalled it about 4 days after I
installed it because I was very disappointed. I prefer RPGs similar to
WoW/EQ(MMO) and traditional RPGs like FF and Chrono games.
My computer don't have enought RAM, so I can't play it Baka
computer...
I've played Morrowind and fell in love with it, so I really really want to play
Oblivion too... I've seen some of it at a friend, and it's so realistic!
I think it's awesome so far. My only complaint with it is the levelling scale
where the enemies level up as you do- what I've found is that I went into the
Kvatch quest at around level 10 and there were already low-level Daedra running
around. Same thing in the bandit caves- I'm level 16 now and the bandits are
running around with elven/glass weapons due to my levelling up- it's a
double-edged sword now, unlike Morrowind.
That said, every other aspect is a huge improvement over Morrowind. I'm
upgrading my computer shortly to give myself more eye-candy. (GeForce 7900...
drool)
I'm planning to pick this up soon. I'm curious though whether my Radeon 9800Pro
will cope with the game (CPU is an AMD dual-core, so not a problem there).
